    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceOperations Manager to oversee our production operations in AbuDhabi and Ivory Coast. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor managing the daytoday service operations activities optimizingprocesses ensuring quality standards and driving continuousimprovement initiatives. The Service Ops Manager will play apivotal role in achieving production targets maintaining a safework environment and fostering a culture of efficiency andcollaboration within the service team.

    Duties &Responsibilities

    • Plan organize andcoordinate manufacturing activities to meet production targets anddeadlines.
    • Implement and monitor productionschedules ensuring optimal resource utilization.
    • Drive efficiency improvements and cost reductioninitiatives in the service center.
    • Establishand maintain quality standards for products ensuring compliancewith industry regulations and company policies.
    • Implement quality control measures to identify andrectify defects minimizing production errors.
    • Lead and motivate the service team fostering a culture ofaccountability teamwork and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and providecoaching and training as needed.
    • Identifyopportunities for process improvement and implement lean and sixsigma principles to enhance efficiency.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement bestpractices and drive operational excellence.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote asafe working environment.
    • Implement andenforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplaceaccidents.
    • Oversee inventory levels monitorstock accuracy and implement inventory control measures.
    • Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimizematerials and ensure timely availability.
    • Assist in the development of Operations budgets ensuringcosteffectiveness and resource optimization.
    • Liaise with other departments providing regular updateson production status challenges and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with peers in other regions to work in commongoals.
    • Collaborate with senior management toalign with service strategies with overall businessgoals.

    TheIndividual

    • Minimum of 7 yearsexperience in a similar role.
    • Any engineeringdegree in the relevant field of education Mechanical engineerspreferred.
    • Extensive knowledge in rotatingequipment and ability to carry out Failure and Root Causeanalyses.
    • Experience of working in amultinational and multicultural environment in a managerialposition.
    • Experience in service industrypreferred.
    • Proven track record in projectexecution and people management
    • Soundknowledge on all John Crane products
    • StrongCommercial and Technical Skills
    • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills
