Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in landscape and related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional client relationship management and presentation skills, technical leadership, and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.

This role requires a self-motivated professional with proven project delivery experience, capable of leading a team responsible for the technical, financial, and contractual aspects of project management. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the focal point between the internal team, consultants, authorities, and the Client—ensuring that all project objectives are achieved to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Description of the Role:

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in landscape and related infrastructure projects with high level of client relationship management. 

This position requires professional ability and inherent motivation.  Required to lead a team responsible for managing all technical aspects of the project including technical interfaces with third parties, stakeholder management, programme management, liaising with authorities, integration of works with adjoining projects, excellent skills in presenting and controlling technical matters. Act as a focal point between the team, consultants, and the Client, ensuring the desired project objectives are delivered. Must have adequate knowledge and information about the business and the project to make informed value-add decisions for both the Client and the Company.

The role will include:

• Participate in studying business opportunities including preparing level of efforts estimates and technical methodologies
• Lead and manage projects. This shall include but not limited to the day to day management of project activities, client relationships, resources management and technical input and financial management.
• Ensure best practice in the company's project delivery methods
• Ensure delivery of projects within time and budget. Ensure meeting client expectations to promote continuous business from known clients. 
• Manage the project contractually and ensure scope and cost management as per best practices.
• Manage the permitting activity with local authorities. This shall include personal involvement as well as coaching and guiding of others within the company to achieve smooth and quick permitting. 
• Identify personnel needs for project requirements in the process of developing project plans, help HR in identifying and interview qualified project team candidates.
• Involve in project onboarding processes and other essential project training needs as well.
• Coach junior project managers and elevate team morale.  Provide leadership by building project teams and motivating them to hit project milestones. Building and training project teams to expand their capabilities by establishing best practices, policies, PM methodologies, quality assurance and control, tools, and templates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects, including day-to-day operations, client relations, resource allocation, technical input, and financial oversight.
• Oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of the project, including interfaces with third parties and integration with adjoining projects.
• Manage stakeholder engagement, authority coordination, and permitting activities; provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure efficient approval processes.
• Participate in business development activities, including preparation of level-of-effort estimates, technical methodologies, and project proposals.
• Ensure project delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and quality parameters while maintaining client satisfaction and promoting repeat business.
• Oversee contractual management, ensuring scope, cost, and risk control in line with company and industry best practices.
• Support HR and leadership teams in identifying staffing requirements, interviewing qualified candidates, and facilitating project onboarding and training.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Establish and maintain best practices, project management methodologies, and quality assurance standards within the project team.
• Deliver clear, concise presentations and reports to clients and senior management, maintaining effective communication at all levels.

Requirements

Required Candidate Profile:

• Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
• Western Educated
• Professional affiliation.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on Abu Dhabi experience with international consultants.

Candidate Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Western education preferred.
• Recognized professional affiliation (e.g., PMP, PE, CEng, or equivalent).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on landscape and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in Abu Dhabi with reputable international consultants.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex projects successfully.
