    Product Manager Debit Cards Job Description

    Role: Portfolio Manager
    Location: Dubai

    Role Purpose:
    Debit Card ProductManager is responsible for product planning designing creationdelivery and marketing of Debit cards throughout the productlifecycle.

    Works under the supervision of theHead of Card Products; comes up with business strategies forexisting product structuring identification and fixing of gapsrelated to current products by liaising and taking necessaryapprovals from other crossfunctional departments.
    Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to drivebusiness growth and meet business targets. Conduct regular reviewon market trends and studies competitor activities to identifyopportunities.

    Key Accountabilitiesof the role

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Conduct new product design anddevelopment exploring potential and innovative businessopportunities.
    • Provide support relating toproduct market trends customer needs competitionproducts.
    • Responsible for setting up of thestandard processes updating policies adhering to regulatory andbank compliances for Debit cards.
    • Undertakeproduct development and enhancement of new and existing productsrespectively. Closely work with technology team for upgradation ofexisting portfolio or development of new products.
    • Lead and execute Debit Cards promotions offerings manageoverall operations including coordination product evaluation duediligence and any other related duties.
    • Conduct data and market study providing effectiveanalysis & suggestions for business and productimprovement.
    • Responsible for closely trackingmonitoring analyzing operations for productoptimization.
    • Strict compliance with Bankprocesses internal and external control compliance and any otherrelated requirements
    • Develop a roadmap for theDebit Card product lifecycle based on inputs from internalstakeholders customers market research and industryinsights.
    • Closely work with Cards Product headto drive overall product and business strategy and align internallywith cross functional teams in the Card eco system like IT BranchesSharia Operations risk compliance and other relatedfunctions
    SpecialistSkills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
    • Understand the market / industrydynamics and key drivers of market conditions.
    • Good knowledge of UAE Banking practices Regulations andRisks
    • Analytic skills
    • Project management skills
    • Businessmanagement/revenue management background
    • Goodcommunication and interaction skills
    • Attentionto detail.
    • Ability to manage conflictingpriorities and deadlines.
    • Results oriented: isselfmotivated driven by the need to succeed.
    Previous experience required (if any)
    • A minimum of 7 years industryexperience of which at least 3 years product/program managementexperience is essential.
    • Universitydegree
    • Understanding of marketing dynamicsincluding demographic factors competitor products and services andcustomer experience
    • Knowledge of the UAE Cardsmarket and main competitors
    • Ability toidentify opportunities negotiate and analyze post campaign results
