    Description

    Main Duties andResponsibilities:

    • Takes on theresponsibility for establishing, upkeeping, and managing access tothe IT security infrastructure, along with offering technicalguidance to users. Ensures consistent and standard operations ofthe systems, aligning with both local and international norms andpractices. Guarantees that the designated systems are available,with swift and thorough restoration in case of anyissues.
    • Supports the IT Project Manager informulating a comprehensive project strategy that encompassessecurity measures, identifies potential project hazards, andeffectively addresses them as they arise.
    • Aidsthe project manager in crafting and evaluating Securityrequirements, conducting Security architecture assessments,establishing Security Baselines, delineating Access ControlProcedures, and validating access permissions for both new andexisting systems.
    • Conceives and engineerssecurity architecture for both cloud and hybrid cloud environments,ensuring that they align with business needs while maintainingminimal risk and robust securitysafeguards.
    • Executes modifications, such asupgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes, to bothproduction and test environments within the IT Security domain,adhering to established change managementprotocols.
    • Administers Firewalls, Cloud WebProxies, Cloud Email Gateways, and Azure Cloud services, ensuringaccess is granted based on requests and validating that allfirewalls adhere to security bestpractices.
    • Contributes to the planning andmonitoring of utilization and capacity for existing and proposedsecurity systems, taking part in relevant tasks and selectingsuitable tools and methodologies to generate precise data formeasurement, estimation, planning, and optimization ofcapacity.
    • Ensures the swift and effectiveresolution of IT security incidents, providing both primary andsecondary support to resolve issues through root cause analysis,temporary solutions, or permanent fixes. Maintains communicationwith vendors to guarantee timely and comprehensive resolution ofreported incidents.
    • Evaluates Access Requestsfor new permissions and administers logical access controls acrossvarious platforms, ensuring uninterrupted and secure access to ITresources.
    • Strives to enhance and optimizeprocesses to bolster primary and secondary support capabilitieswithin the IT Security environment.
    • Conductsinvestigations into IT security violations and incidents, aiming torefine practices and procedures, and mitigate the likelihood andseverity of future security-relatedissues.
    • Plays an active role in the businesscontinuity technical IT team during crisis situations, aiding inthe recovery and management of the IT Security framework.Participates in the review of deliverables from implementation andmaintenance activities, and advocates for any necessarymodifications to IT recovery plans.

    Skills

    Education

    • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering orequivalent
    • Certifications in Firewalls andother IT security systems
    • Certifications inMicrosoft Azure Security and M365 Security
    • ITILfoundation

    Experience

    • +7 yearsexperience in managing medium to large IT Security environments +5years practical on-the-job experience in managing Cloud platformssecurity.
    • +5 years of experience in workingwith cloud security and governance tools, cloud access securitybrokers (CASBs) and server virtualizationtechnologies.

    Technical Expertise / Skills /Knowledge

    • Working knowledge ofRouters, Firewalls, Cloud Web Proxy, Cloud Email Gateways, ZeroTrust Network (Private Access), Microsoft Azure Security, M365Security.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azureand Oracle Cloud.
    • Working Knowledge of CloudSecurity Monitoring and Complianceplatforms.
    • Risk assessments related to Cloudplatforms.
    • Expertise in assessment,development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of acomprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes(secure software development (Application Security), dataprotection, cryptography, key management, identity and accessmanagement (IAM), network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, andother cloud environments.
    • Working knowledge ofcommon industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authenticationmechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc).
    • Experienceperforming threat modeling and design reviews to assess securityimplications and requirements for the introduction of newtechnologies.
    • Ability to construct, interpretand execute test plans to verify correct operation of completedsystems.
    • Good knowledge of IT security riskanalysis methods, tools and techniques and utilize to identifypotential exposures to application systems critical to thecontinuity of the organizations.
    • Basicknowledge of programming techniques such as Functions, Loops,Conditional Statements, etc.
    • Sound analyticaland intellectual capabilities
    • High level ofaccuracy and attention to detail
    • Goodcommunication skills (spoken &written)
    • Good interpersonal skills and abilityto interact effectively with managers / staff from differentcultural backgrounds.
    • Demonstrable track recordin leading IT Security related activities, projects andoperations.
    • Proven project management skills,including solid understanding of project control skills (riskmanagement, monitoring, andtroubleshooting).
    • Possesses a solidunderstanding of the offerings within the Microsoft Azureplatforms.
