    • The jobholder handles his/her duties independently within the framework ofresponsibilities and boundaries identified with this role and inaccordance with standard practices.
    • Consultswith Line Manager on any critical or AOG activities & anynonroutine actions prior to executing; all duties shall beperformed through proper channel and in compliance with adoptedpolicies and procedures.
    KeyResult Responsibilities
    • Develops longterm/shorttermmaintenance plans for Air Arabia fleet maintenance based on theApproved Maintenance Program and any other documents issued by CAMOengineering services.
    • Executes maintenanceactivities forecasting in company MIS (AMOS) in a timely andcosteffective manner.
    • Creates any scheduledand unscheduled line maintenance/ base maintenance /workshops/thirdparty work packages and coordinate with all responsible stakeholders in line with the procedures laid down in companymanuals.
    • Prepares coordinates and schedulesall short term maintenance requirements working closely with linemaintenance and MCC departments.
    • Coordinatescreate plan and verify third party maintenance workpackages.
    • Responsible for effective packagecreation issuance of preloads gnatt charts and any other supportrequired for check execution.
    • Maintains asystem of monitoring and control of the maintenance program toensure that the maintenance schedules are executed timely andaccording to approved practices. This includes reportbackmaintenance events carried out within an approved time frame givenin the company procedures.; providing complete check analysis postcompletion of major checks (including A check);
    • Develop monthly/quarterly/half yearly and yearly man hourforecast vs man hours utilised reports.
    • Coordinates with Stakeholders to develop maintenancecapacity plan and manage scheduled/unscheduled maintenanceactivities taking into consideration the agreed parameters(calendar hours cycles) cost and business needs overlaps unforeseencircumstances as well as emergencies.
    • Coordinates with Technical Procurement team to ensure alltools spare parts and components prior to scheduling or planningany maintenance activity on Air Arabia fleet or third partyentity.
    • Monitors tasks completion versusEngineers checks requests in accordance with policies proceduresand regulations.
    • Schedule compliance ofairworthiness directives as well as nonmandatory service bulletinsand modifications issued by CAMO engineering.
    • Provides necessary assistance in the aircraftslease/sublease process through technical evaluation ofaircrafts.
    • Coordinates with respective partiesin Engineering Finance and Legal to ensure smooth processing as peragreed terms and conditions and approved regulations.
    • Provide feedback to CAMO engineering services to enhanceimprove or increase efficiency of any maintenance relateddocuments.
    Qualifications (Academic traininglanguages)
    • University Degree in AircraftEngineering/Aeronautical/Aerospace/Industrial orequivalent.
    • Project Management certificate oralternately the proven corresponding working experience.
    • Cost Control Compliance Budgeting and Quality Assurancecertificates and trainings are an added value and some may betreated as conditional for this role.
    • Capableof using technology systems & tools; proficient inMicrosoft suite and MRO systems.
    • Excellentcommand over both written and verbal communication skills:reporting presentations etc.
    • Fluent in EnglishLanguage.
    WorkExperience
    • 5 years experience in the Aviation industry 4of which as Planning Engineer or in a similar capacity
    • Experience with Airbus A320 aircraft ispreferred.
    • Experienced in aircraft planningsystems procedures and documents such as (MPD MRB AMP) andregulations such as those of CAMO (Continuing AirworthinessManagement Organization) and their relation to aircraft maintenanceprogram.
    • Familiar with aircraft systems andcomponents.
    • Familiar with rules andregulations of GCAA pertaining to the Engineering Maintenancepolicies procedures manuals and licensing.
    • Candemonstrate a working knowledge of EASA part 145 part 21 and subpart M requirements.
    • Experienced in workingwith a team of professionals (Engineers and Technicians) in afrequently changing environment with heavy workload schedules andadhoc scenarios.

    • Very good supervisory and time managementskills.
    • Necessary exposure on airline andFlight Operations and standard regulations.
    • Exposure to Quality Assurance/Safety/Audit functionalpractices.
    • High accuracy and attention to bothresults and details.
    • Costoriented possesseseffective problem solving and decision making skills.
