    Description
    • Guest Service: Ensure the deliveryof exceptional guest service by coordinating seating arrangements,greeting, and escorting guests, and addressing any concerns orspecial requests.
    • Reservation Management:Manage restaurant reservations ensuring accurate record-keeping,effective table allocation, and timely follow-up withguests.
    • Seating Coordination: Coordinate theseating of guests optimizing table utilization while consideringguest preferences, special events, and VIPrequirements.
    • Front-of-House Operations:Oversee the overall organization and cleanliness of therestaurant's front-of-house area including the receptiondesk, waiting area, and guestflow.
    • Communication Liaison: Serve as acommunication liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-houseteams ensuring effective coordination and smooth serviceflow.
    • Guest Satisfaction: Monitor guestfeedback and promptly address any concerns or complaints, strivingto enhance guest satisfaction and maintain a positive diningexperience.
    • Training and Development: Train,coach, and mentor host/hostess staff providing guidance on guestservice, reservation management, and effectivecommunication.
    • Special Events and VIP Handling:Coordinate special events and VIP guest requirements, ensuringpersonalized service and attention todetail.
    • The Head Hostess at Bab Al Shams DesertResort may be involved in planning and organizing special events,coordinating with other departments, and participating in meetingsand training sessions related to front-of-house operations oroverall F&B activities.
