    Geotechnical Proposal Engineer

    This role involves managing proposal preparation, coordination, and submission across the MEI Region. It demands excellent organizational skills, the capacity to handle tight deadlines, work efficiently under pressure, and collaborate effectively to produce superior proposals showcasing Fugro's unique engineering services.

    The engineer will join our central expertise and commercial teams, responsible for the commercial management office.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise the proposal creation process, ensuring timely submissions and collaboration for specialized content.
    • Create and finalize technical and commercial proposal deliverables, ensuring compliance and responsiveness.
    • Manage proposal schedules and workflows.
    • Coordinate and document inputs, including from subcontractors.
    • Lead proposal submission from planning to delivery, including post-submission tasks.
    • Analyse feedback from unsuccessful bids to improve future proposals.
    • Implement CRM and sales pipeline best practices; maintain accurate CRM data.
    • Oversee accurate client prequalification/registration, price trend analysis, and market comparison.

    You Bring (qualifications & Experience)

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Geology; master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering and/or offshore / onshore experience are a plus
    • Ability to make appropriate judgements, technical decisions and exercise initiative during bid preparation, negotiation.
    • Experience in proposal coordination, with strong writing skills combining technical, persuasive, and creative methods.
    • Strategic and analytical thinking, with a keenness to learn.
    • Ability to prepare bills of quantities and understand cost elements.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills; persuasive with clients.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Project.
