    About The RoleThe role holder isresponsible for the business development of Ambient product in theIndia. Under the supervision of the Director for the category theBD Manager has to follow up the order pipeline align with thedistributor on the monthly goals and targets set by the Directorand replace products / sku s as per market needs or supplypossibilities.

    CoreResponsibilities:

    • Follow up on monthlytargets and goals set for everydistributor.
    • Secure the pipeline 3 months inadvance and give visibility to Finances and Factory to ensuretimely purchase of raw materials and line timeallocation.
    • Accurate reporting (sales targetsoutputs activities implementation budgetmanagement).
    • Reporting monthly performance ofeach country and distributor and coming up with developmentideas.
    • Setting value chains price positioningand launch plans.
    • Researching and identifyingcustomers and market gaps to identify new opportunities forgrowth.
    • Work with the distributor team toforecast monthly shipments.
    • Work on trademarketing plans and marketing budgets for assignedregions.
    • Work with sales team for productdistribution displays and dominance in the assignedmarket.
    • Work with the distributor sales teamsto ensure proper brand positioning and establishing the brandguidelines.
    • Following competitor activitiessales progress supply chain & product quality issues to thecompany to identify opportunities forgrowth.
    • Ensuring product availability at alltimes maintaining adequate stock levels following orderingschedules.
    • Tracking analyzing and reportingfindings from competitor and market analysis its impact on theBusiness Unit.
    • Developing and maintaining awinning relationship with key customers.
    • Ensurepayments are on schedule and have no overdue payments fromdistributors.
    • Liase and manage indirectly thedistributors sales team.
    • Ensure the distributorsales team is proficient in brand understanding and standardsrequired.

    About The RequirementsAminimum of 3 years experience in Ambient products. Ideally would bespices and condiments.
