    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Develop the Project Information andData Management Plans, reflective of the Project lifecyclerequirements. This may encapsulate engineering design data anddeliverables, construction, supply chain and documentmanagement
    • Ensure the project team is fullyaware of all stakeholder requirements related to the ProjectInformation and Data ManagementPlans
    • Coordinate and interface withClient's PIM on all aspects of Information and DataManagement
    • Communicate and promote theProject's Data Management Plan scope, strategy andexecution roadmap, including any constraints and mandated workprocesses, to the engineering team
    • Define theProject tagging and data structures and set standards for dataquality and delivery that meets all stakeholder needs. This shallbe cognisant of Project phase, Client standards, internalstandards, and industry regulations
    • Coordinatewith Discipline Managers and Leads to forecast resource needs(staffing, tools, software, etc.) and completion dates fordelivery
    • Partner with Discipline Managers toensure adequate number of qualified staff are assigned to theproject to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements per theproject contract; ensure each team member understands his/her roleand responsibilities related to the Project Information and DataManagement Plans
    • Partner with the LeadEngineering Systems Engineer, to ensure full integration ofengineering data into the overall Project information managementscope
    • Work as a member of the ProjectManagement Team to safely deliver an integrated engineering design,to the agreed budget, schedule andquality
    • Manage the lifecycle data managementscope, including engineering and any subcontractors, to ensure thework is completed as per the Project Data ManagementPlan
    • Manage the integrity and change control ofthe lifecycle tagging and data structures in compliance withinternal standard data model and ensure communication of andagreement with all Projectstakeholders
    • Coordinate with IT for resolutionof hardware/software issues, interface with tool suppliers to helpresolve issues raised by Project team
    • Identify,communicate, manage and mitigate all risks relevant to lifecycledata management and handover
    • Progress, qualityand completeness reporting related to generation and handover ofProject lifecycle data
    • Manage and monitor alldata interfaces with Client or other third parties to ensurerequirements are addressed
    • Manage interfacewith data/information managers of other Project disciplines toensure compatibility and consistency of data at overall projectlevel
    • Perform the Project data close out andhandover to the client
    • Record baseline andchanges in engineering data in following the Project'sManagement of Change (MOC) processes
    • Partnerwith the Change Manager to ensure MOC is followed in theperformance of lifecycle data activities and provide engineeringdata to all changes
    • Proactively seek inputsfrom all engineering Disciplines for MOC data input opportunity andvalidity
    • Develop engineering data qualityobjectives for the project with new or updates KPIs to reflect theProject Information and Data Managementstatus
    • Actively participate and contributeinformation and data management input toProposals
    • Collect Lessons Learned throughoutthe execution of the Project Information and Data ManagementPlan

    Qualifications

    • A Degree in an industry relatedsubject and/or practical industryexperience
    • Proven experience in managingEngineering information management systems, IT infrastructure andservices
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windowssoftware, including server, office, andexchange
    • Management and leadershipskills
    • Multi-tasking and time-managementskills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, highly organized anddetail-oriented
    • Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills
