    EXPERIENCEDFIDUCIARY TAXACCOUNTANT

    Overview

    Areyou a paralegal or fiduciary tax accountant working with trusts andestates? Our client is seeking full-time Experienced Fiduciary TaxAccountants with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, aswell as extensive knowledge of Trusts & Estates practicesfor their Naples and Bonita Springs, Florida offices. To besuccessful in this role, general knowledge of law firm practice andprocedure is required.


    Responsibilitiesand EssentialFunctions
    • Identify,collect, analyze, extract, organize, andmaintain:
      • Factsand documents in accordance with correct legal practices andprocedures
      • Financialstatements and spreadsheets related to clientinvestments
    • Develop,organize, andmaintain:
      • Workingrelationships with clients and personnel, both internal andexternal
      • Trackingand accounting systems for sophisticated client investments tofacilitate the preparation of U.S. trust taxreturns
      • Information,facts, records, and other documents necessary to support legalactions
    • Prepare:
      • Federaland state death tax returns, as well as income tax returns fordescendants estates, testamentary, and inter vivostrusts
      • Individual,fiduciary, partnership, and non-profit organization taxreturns
      • Gifttaxreturns
      • Estateand trust probateaccountings
      • Relatedfilings, planning, and analysis for all accountings andreturns
    • Assistin the analysis of legal proceedings to identify problems, needsandprocedures
    • Administrationof trusts andestates
    • Verbaland written communication with clients, trustees, banks, and otherparties
    • Trackdue dates, file returns and accountings in a timely manner, orextend returns and accountings whereapplicable


    Requirements

    • Bachelorsor Masters Degree inAccounting
    • Knowledge of thefollowing:
      • Accountingand trustprocedures
      • Individual,partnership, and corporate balancesheets
      • Legalfunctions used in the processing of trusts andestates
    • Abilityto develop, organize, maintain, and effectively manage electronicdata collection and casematerials
    • Proficiencyin MSExcel
