    Description

    An Imaging Operatorfor JSM s Print Operations Group will be controllingand utilizing a commercial laser printer with a high level ofproficiency to obtain quality and quantity goals according tocustomer s guidelines and standard operating

    EssentialFunctions:

    • Examinejob jacket to determine quantities to be printed, stockspecifications, colors, or special printing
    • Clean inkand keep machine clean and
    • Collectand inspect random samples during print runs to identify anynecessary adjustments after each
    • Downloador select programs or files to be printed, using printingproduction
    • Feed paperthrough press cylinders and adjust feed and tension
    • Inputproduction job settings into workstation terminals that controlautomated printing
    • Loadpresses with paper and make necessary adjustments, according topaper
    • Monitorautomated press operation systems and respond to fault, error, oralert
    • Startprinters and pull proofs to check for ink coverage and density,alignment, and
    • Controlworkflow scheduling or job
    • Maintaintime or production
