    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic plansto enhance logistics operations and ensure they align with companygoals.
    • Manage all aspects of shipping, freight,3PL, and delivery to ensure efficient and timely delivery ofproducts.
    • Oversee the creation and managementof purchase orders, ensuring accuracy andtimeliness.
    • Lead demand planning processes toforecast necessary inventory levelsaccurately.
    • Coordinate with brokers to ensuresmooth, cost-effective transportation ofgoods.
    • Oversee material management, ensuringoptimal inventory levels and efficient use ofresources.
    • Supervise production planning toensure it aligns with demand and logisticscapabilities.
    • Utilize Epicor software forvarious logistics and production planningoperations.
    • Develop and maintain strongrelationships with logistics serviceproviders.
    • Regularly review and analyzelogistics operations data to identify areas for improvement andimplement necessary changes.
    • Ensure compliancewith all relevant regulations and standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in SupplyChain Management, Business Administration, or a relatedfield.
    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience inlogistics management within the manufacturingindustry.
    • Proven experience with shipping,freight, 3PL, purchase orders, demand planning, brokerage,delivery, material management, productionplanning.
    • Proficient in using Epicorsoftware.
    • Strong leadership skills with theability to manage and motivate ateam.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solvingskills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonalskills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced,high-pressure environment.
    • Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,PowerPoint).
    • Strong knowledge of logistics andinventory management systems.
    • Excellentorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneously.
    • Understanding of industry bestpractices and an ability to implement them at various stages of theproduction process.
