    Description

    Are you interested inbuilding the latest in EV chargertechnology?


    EPG() is currently seeking a full time, on-site Senior ElectricalEngineer for one of our partners that is a leader in building EVcharging In this position, you will contribute to the electricaldevelopment of a unique EV charger, acting as a mentor when neededand helping drive decision-making across multi-disciplineddevelopment


    Responsibilities

    • Establishingand documenting electrical requirements for relevant
    • Participatingin and driving all stages of electrical development, designingreviews, testing plans, hardware validation and
    • Testingand validating PCB
    • Ensuringelectrical engineering best practices towards all stages ofhardware
    • PCBdesign schematic capture and layout from concept to product
    • Debuggingboth low-power and high-power
    • Runningcircuit simulations to qualify preliminary
    • Drivingcost-down exercises on product BOMs to prepare products for massproduction


    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in ElectricalEngineering
    • 5+years of experience in electronic hardware development for acommercial
    • 3+years of experience in Automotive, EV charging, Industrial,high-power markets, or
    • Familiaritywith EV and general safety
    • Extensiveexperience in circuit schematic capture and PCB layout softwarelike
    • Experiencein all stages of hardware product development from productinception to product
    • Experiencedriving electrical hardware cost-down exercises to ready designsfor mass

    Preferred

    • Masters
    • Experiencewith a technology
    • Extensiveexperience designing electrical hardware to UL safety
    • Extensiveexperience designing for radiated emissions/FCC
    • Experiencewith electrical circuit modeling and simulation software, like
    • Experiencespecifying and developing IOT
    • Experiencewith high frequency/differential signal
    • Experiencewith high power
    • Highlyskilled with Python, MATLab,C/C++.
    • Demonstratedability to mentor junior
    • Knowledgeof the AC distribution system in industrial spaces (3 phasepower).
    • Familiaritywith the functional safety
