    Overview: TheOpportunity
    Design implement and maintain the network infrastructure requiredto support Core42s cuttingedge AI and cloudbased solutions. Youwill play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless connectivitysecurity and reliability of our clients networks allowing them toharness the full potential of our digital transformation solutions.
    Core42 isthe UAEs nationalscale enabler for cloud and generative AIcombining G42 Groups expertise across multiple technologydisciplines into a single platform for public sector and largeenterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities assovereign cloud and HPC specialist we bring generative AIcybersecurity professional and managed services expertise to enablenationalscale program deployments across industries. Responsibilities:

    Day to DayOperations

    • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to design and deploy scalable and efficientnetwork architectures that meet the unique requirements of ourclients digital transformation initiatives.
    • Implement and maintain robust network security measures includingfirewalls VPNs intrusion detection systems and other securitytechnologies to safeguard our clients data and systems frompotential threats.
    • Install configure andsupport network equipment including routers proxy servers switchesWAN accelerators DNS and DHCP.
    • Monitor URLnetworks systems storage and data centers using a wide variety oftools within the consolidated 24x7 Network OperationsCentre.
    • Provide certainty that all alerts areaddressed in a timely manner to meet and/or exceed external ServiceLevel Agreements (SLAs) and internal Service Level Objectives(SLOs).
    • Liaise with vendors and faultmanagement teams to identify troubleshoot and resolve systemrelated issues and escalate to senior engineers as required toensure client satisfaction.
    • Prioritize andperform triage on network and systems by creating updating androuting tickets to concerned teams.
    • Providecritical service outage notifications and escalate issues fortimely resolution.
    • Support and administerfirewall environments through firewall logs analysis in line withIT security policy.
    • Perform disaster recoveryoperations report network operational status by gathering andprioritizing information and record data backups whenrequired.
    • Integrate onpremises networkinfrastructure with cloud services ensuring smooth data flow andoptimized network performance across hybridenvironments.
    • Monitor network performanceproactively identify issues and troubleshoot network outages orother connectivity problems to minimize downtime and maintain highavailability.
    • Conduct capacity planningassessments to anticipate network growth and ensure adequateresources are in place to meet future demands.
    • Stay uptodate with the latest networking technologies and conductperiodic network upgrades and maintenance to improve performanceand security.
    • Work closely with internal teamsto understand project requirements and document network designsconfigurations and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing andfuture reference.
    Qualifications:

    MinimumQualifications:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.

    Minimum Experience:

    • 5 years of relevantexperience as a Network Engineer in a professional ITenvironment.
    • Experience working with networkequipment from vendors like Cisco Juniper Arista orHPE.
    • Experience with cloud networking servicesand concepts such as AWS VPC Azure Virtual Network and Google CloudNetworking.
    • Familiarity with networkmonitoring and management tools such as Wireshark Nagios SolarWindsor PRTG.
    • Strong understanding of networkingprotocols and technologies including TCP/IP BGP OSPF MPLS VLANs andVPNs.
    • Proficiency in implementing and managingnetwork security solutions such as firewalls IDS/IPS access controllists and encryptiontechnologies.

    • Excellent communicationskills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams andarticulate complex technical concepts to nontechnicalstakeholders.
