    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Protect the company'sproperty and staff by maintaining a safe and secureenvironment
    • Observe for signs of crime ordisorder and investigate disturbances
    • Actlawfully in direct defence of life orproperty
    • Apprehend criminals and evictviolators
    • Take accurate notes of unusualoccurrences
    • A report in detail any suspiciousincidents
    • Patrol randomly or regularly buildingand perimeter
    • Monitor and control access atbuilding entrances and vehicle gates
    • Watchalarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergencyequipment
    • Perform first aid or CPR

    Requirements

    • Proven work experience as a securityguard or relevant position
    • Trained securityofficer with a diploma
    • Ability to operatedetecting systems and emergencyequipment
    • Excellent knowledge of public safetyand security procedures/protocols
    • Surveillanceskills and detail orientation
    • Integrity andprofessionalism
    • High schooldegree
