    Description

    Responsibilities

    CustomerCentricity

    • Observescolleagues and learns to gather technology and customer/partnerinsights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences,environments, business needs) and align with solutions. Acts as thevoice of the customer (VOC)/partner by learning to identify andshare feedback around technical capabilities, blockers, andinsights that relate to the customer/partner with internalteams.
    • Works with internal teams and beginsbuilding relationships with customer/partner technical specialistsunder the guidance and supervision of others. Solicits input fromothers to contribute to proposals for viable solutions based onspecific technical products. Demonstrates basic technical conceptsand proves those design solutions' capability throughdesign collaboration sessions with the customer/partner. Learns howto work with internal teams and actively seeks ways to supportshort-term/transactional engagements and understands how workcontributes to customer success plans to meet customer/partnerneeds and deliver customer outcomes. Supports customer skillingneeds by participating in discussions on technical delivery withother internal and external stakeholders to transfer knowledge andcontribute to customer readiness.
    • Contributesto customer/partner satisfaction by providing a positivecustomer/partner experience. Demonstrates an understanding ofcustomer/partner conditions of success. Supports collection ofcustomer feedback data. Establishes recovery actions or proactivelymakes offers to improve customer/partnerexperience.
    • Actively listens and respectfullychallenges customers/partners when going in the wrong direction,escalating appropriately, under guidance.

    Business Impact

    • With supervision, identifies issuesand advises customers/partners to operate and optimize performancein accordance with Microsoft best practices. Escalates issues tosenior team members or manager, as needed. Applies methodology andgovernance, as directed, to minimize business and technical risksand adhere to quality assurance while ensuring excellence incontributions to design and/or delivery of solutions. Adheres toquality assurance standards. Leverages standard tools as directedto align with opportunity and milestone execution and pipelinehygiene standards.
    • Works with the customer tosupport resolution of technical blockers and accelerate consumptionand solution implementation for selected scenarios (e.g., byapplication of technical capabilities). May identify and escalatenon-technical issues for removal by the appropriate party. Appliesfoundational technical knowledge of an architecture or otherMicrosoft solution to meet business and information technology (IT)requirements and resolve identified technicalconstraints.
    • Learns about the products,services, and value propositions of Microsoft's Cloud andSupport businesses, and shares learnings with others (e.g., peergroups, customers) as appropriate. Leverages an existingarchitecture approach or reference architecture to support deliveryon Microsoft's Customer Promise. Supports opportunities toexpand or accelerate cloud consumption. Assesses customer/partnerneeds and gathers information that helps others to identify growthopportunities. Participates in discussions around architecturedesign, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that resultin production deployment application and increase customer/partnerusage, consumption, and value outcomes.
    • LearnsMicrosoft solutions and demonstrates an understanding ofMicrosoft's value to customers/partners.

    Technical Leadership

    • Leverages development opportunities(e.g., mentorships, role-based resources, trainings, internalevents such as Ready, Build, Ignite) to learn new technologies orservices.
    • Provides input to virtual teammembers when asked, using a basic knowledge of Microsoftarchitectures and products.
    • Learns to identifyand communicate areas in intellectual property (IP) that needrefreshing or have gaps. Contributes to IP development withguidance/supervision.
