    Service Sales Specialist - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - ABB

    Description
    • Prepare growth-oriented salesplans using company tools and implement new sales plan. Performregular status reviews and propose recovery plans in cases ofpotential order shortfalls.
    • Establish andmaintain effective customer relationships to understand customerneeds, promote customer understanding of products or systems orservices offering, and align to provide a solution and ensure apositive customer experience. Ensure to visit the customersfrequently and study the technical specifications and submit offersfor complete motion service portfolio.
    • Generateenquiry for complete motion service portfolio and promote motionservice portfolio advance services & VAS (Value addedservices).
    • Prioritize maintenance activities atsite and avail support from drives and motor workshops whennecessary. Ensure all activities such as legal and ethicalcompliance requirements are in accordance with overall companypolicies, procedures and organization's goals andobjectives while keeping the employee safety as apriority.
    • Complete the Installed base (IB)mapping to ensure that more than 95% of installed base is allottedto site and make sure the service level agreements are signed withmajor accounts. Provide accurate forecasting of orders and developservice channel partner review and take corrective actions whenrequired. Promote drive workshop and follow the sun concept toenhance connected devices in the region and organize customizedtechnical events to improve ABB's acceptability with endusers.
    • Perform energy audit or appraisals topromote energy efficiency sales pitch and generate leads using theconcept. Participate in kickoff meeting with respective projectmanagers and customer, based on project nature and handover theservice projects to Project Manager after the completion of theproject.
    • Promote a culture that embracescontinuous process improvement, personal accountability, teamwork,and customer service to achieve objectives and improve operationalproductivity and customer relations. Exhibit the ability toeffectively perform as per the priorities and develop innovativebusiness model with authorized workshop partner to support longterm service agreements.

    Your background

    • Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 6 to 10 yearsof experience as a service sales engineer for motors &drives services.
    • Knowledge in drive servicebackground (Low Voltage/ Medium voltage drives & motors)will be an advantage.
    • Prior experience indealing with major government end-users entities and industrialcustomers in the region will bebeneficial.
    • Technical expertise in sellingservice agreements and having experience in digital solutions is aplus.
    • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills with the ability to influence both internallyand externally.
