    • Follow LINSCAN's Process Flow Charts and interact with otherdepartments when required
    • Assure timely andaccurate reporting to LIN SCAN ITDepartment
    • Identify trainingrequirements

    Key Responsibilities& Authorities

    • Able to read assembly drawings andinterpret welding symbols.
    • Operates machinesuch as welding, drilling, etc.
    • Maintain themachines as and when required.
    • Keeps themachines and workshop area clean and tidy.
    • Laysout, positions and secures parts and assemblies according tospecifications
    • Installs or repairs equipment.Observes tests on welded surfaces
    • Analyzesengineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assemblyand welding operations
    • Inspects grooves, anglesor gap allowances
    • Determines required equipmentand welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry andwelding techniques
    • Develops templates and otherwork aids to hold and align parts
    • Carries outany other related Jobs as and when required by the Supervisorand/or HOD
