    • Identify trainingrequirements

    Key Responsibilities& Authorities

    • Proven experience aswelder
    • Must be minimum 7-year experiencedFabricator.
    • Experience using a variety ofwelding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMAetc.)
    • Experience in using electrical or manualtools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
    • Ability toread and interpret technical documents anddrawings
    • Knowledge of relative safety standardsand willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, glovesetc.)
    • Deftness and attention todetail
    • Proficient inEnglish
    • Successful completion of a relevantapprenticeship program is required
    • ProfessionalCertification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be aplus
    • Able to read assembly drawings andinterpret welding symbols.
    • Operates machinesuch as welding, drilling, etc.
    • Maintain themachines as and when required.
    • Keeps themachines and workshop area clean and tidy.
    • Laysout, positions and secures parts and assemblies according tospecifications
    • Installs or repairs equipment.Observes tests on welded surfaces
    • Analyzesengineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assemblyand welding operations
