Job Description:

Client Interaction:

  • Meet with clients to understand needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Discuss the purpose and function of the space.

Project Planning:

  • Develop project briefs and timelines.
  • Plan the use of space and create design concepts aligned with the client's vision.

Space Planning:

  • Design and organize interior spaces for maximum functionality.
  • Consider traffic flow, accessibility, and zoning regulations.

Conceptualization and Design:

  • Create conceptual designs and mood boards.
  • Select color schemes, materials, and finishes.

3D Modeling and Visualization:

  • Use CAD software for 3D models and visualizations.
  • Present designs to clients for feedback and approval.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and 3D models.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology.

Material Selection:

  • Research and select appropriate materials, furnishings, and accessories.
  • Consider factors like durability, sustainability, and cost.

Collaboration:

  • Work with Engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout project Life cycle
  • Coordinate with specialists such as lighting designers.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including interior designers, landscape architects, and project managers.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative working environment.

Code Compliance:

  • Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
  • Stay informed about industry standards.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Provide cost estimates for materials, labor, and other expenses.

Site Inspections:

  • Conduct site visits to assess progress.
  • Address issues or changes during construction.

Detailing:

  • Provide detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure accurate representation in the final design.

Client Presentations:

  • Present design concepts and updates clearly.
  • Incorporate client feedback into the design process.

Project Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Include drawings, specifications, and correspondence.

Community and Environmental Considerations:

  • Integrate sustainable design principles and consider the environmental impact of projects.
  • Engage with local communities and stakeholders as needed.

Post-Occupancy Evaluation:

  • Assess the performance and functionality of completed projects after occupancy.
  • Gather feedback to inform future design improvements.

Continuing Education:

  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Attend workshops, conferences, and training programs.

Salary:
AED3, AED6,000.00 per month
