    Job Description Summary

    The Business Development Manager works under the supervision of the Business Development Director and is responsible to build and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients and grow iTech's revenues for BIM (Building Information Modeling) consulting services. BIM Experience is a must.

    General Responsibilities

    • Build a list of strategic contacts in the UAE construction & contracting industry.
    • Identify and maintain a list of current and upcoming construction projects.
    • Establish relationships with key project stakeholders.
    • Promote iTech's expertise in BIM to new and existing clients.
    • Participate in the Quotation and Negotiation phases of new projects.
    • Monitor the project delivery phase to identify new business opportunities (contract extension, new mandates, consulting services, etc.).
    • Track sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
    • Expand market intelligence of the construction market to drive the business forward.
    • Manage tender portals and prepare bids.

    Business Development

    • Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders during Pre-Sales Engagements.
    • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects (technical evaluation, budget, resources, and time).
    • Build commercial proposals and sign off new bids.
    • Identify new business opportunities within existing clients (project extension, new requirements, consulting services, etc.)

    Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements

    • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent.
    • BIM experience is a must.
    • Minimum 5 years of Sales experience in the AEC industry.
    • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of construction methods, terminologies, processes, and systems.
    • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and the various possibilities of BIM modeling.
    • Must have working knowledge and experience with the following software applications as well as typically used terminology, standards, and practices: AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, TEKLA, Microstation, etc.
    • Knowledge of the sales process with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs using fact-finding to identify sales opportunities.
    • Demonstrate effective written and verbal Arabic and English language communication skills.
    • An effective team player with a strong work ethic.
    • A high level of passion to succeed and a strong level of self-motivation.
