    Description

    ShareholderAccountabilities:

    • Works closely with key businessleaders to develop business plans, ensuring the optimal use ofresources and leverages TD's operating model to maximizeefficiency, effectiveness and scale
    • Coordinatesgroup technology support, including vendor researchdatabases
    • Monitors performance of AMLSanctions/ABAC systems and communicates feedback to executivemanagement, internal technology partners and directly to vendors asappropriate
    • Works with the Risk Assessment Teamin Global AML to ensure that TDBG's Risk AssessmentMethodology is incorporated into the testingprocess
    • Integrates new systems and upgradesinto AML operations models as needed
    • Plans andexecutes on strategic activities, reviews and communicates results,and adjusts tactics accordingly
    • May manageoverall budget, revenue and expenditures, meet business objectiveswhile increasing efficiency andeffectiveness
    • Responsible for the strategicdesign of the AML Operations team working with Managers to ensurethe Unit is adequately staffed
    • Ensuresemployees are knowledgeable; and assumes responsibility to minimizeoperational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank Code ofConduct
    • Keeps abreast of emerging issues,trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assesses potentialimpacts
    • Maintains knowledge of end-to-endprocesses and internal / external partners and regulatoryrequirements

    • Contributes to the development ofbusiness segment and/or enterprise functional strategic prioritieswithin their operational area or field ofspecialty
    • Develops annual and/or long-termplans for own area and influences plans well beyond areamanaged
    • Responsible for management of theoverall team providing both leadership andguidance
    • Sets targets and objectives for theteam, and deliver results
    • Grows team expertiseto align with business/enterprise demand and direction; assessesteam skills and capabilities and continually looks for ways toprovide and enhance the value delivered
    • Leads ahigh performing team; provide on-going feedback and performancereviews, coaches and develops employees and ensures performancemanagement activities are undertaken and provide regular input intoemployee assessments and developmentplans
    • Leads the process of setting performanceobjectives for the team; track, monitors and effectively addressesand/or rewards performance in a timelymanner
    • Manages employees in compliance with allhuman resources policies, procedures and guidelines ofconduct
    • Shares knowledge, information, skills,and subject matter expertise among the team and ensures the timelycommunication of issues and encourage good working relationshipswith other functions and teams
    • Supports anenvironment where team freely escalates business challenges;facilitates change through positive reinforcement of milestones andsuccesses
    • Recruits for all hires to ensure ahighly diverse, qualified workforce to achieve businessobjectives
    • Establishes and fosters a cohesiveteam; promote a fair and equitable environment that supports adiverse workforce and encourage the team to achieve common goalsand objectives
    • Acts as a brand ambassador foryour business area/function and the bank, both internally and/orexternally
