    Description

    What You WillDo

    To be a successful RegionalProject Manager, you should have the ability to work with multiplediscipline projects and demonstrate excellent project managementand supervision skills. You should also have excellentorganizational, time management, leadership, and decision-makingskills.

    • Working closelywith Plywood facility teams to identify and support opportunitiesto improve operations.
    • Developing, preparing,scheduling, estimating, coordinating, and monitoring of assignedengineering projects.
    • Evaluating commitments,cost to completes, forecasting, and other key project controls andmetrics
    • Formulating project parameters andassigning responsibilities execute projectwork.
    • Performing quality control tasks onbudgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reportingon the project's status.
    • Cooperatingand communicating with project participants/ and collaborating withsenior engineers to create efficient and effective methods to meetproject objectives.
    • Reviewing the engineeringtasks and initiating the necessary correctiveactions.
    • Developing equipment specificationsand working with vendors to meet projectneeds.
    • Creating frameworks to measure theproject metrics and datacollection.
    • Establishing field test methods andmethods for monitoring the quality of thosetests.
    • Ensuring the project'scompliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies,performance standards, and specifications.

    Who You Are (BasicQualifications)

    • Three (3) or more years of experiencein an industrial manufacturing or militaryenvironment
    • Previous project managementexperience (full life cycle from idea toimplementation)
    • Experience with managingprojects / initiatives and working with plant operations tointegrate
    • Previous experience managing budgetplans and equipment parts inventory
    • Experiencecoordinating projects, deliverables, andtiming
    • Microsoft Office product experience:Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Must be able andwilling to work in a manufacturing plant environment, includingextended periods of time in noisy, dusty, non-air conditioned orunheated areas
    • Must travel up to 50% (includingsome overnight travel)
    • Control IntegrationSystem and Instrumentation Design andInstallation
    • PLC5 and Control LogixSystems
    • Motor Control Center Design andInstallation

    What Will Put YouAhead

    • Experience leading automation andcontrol integrationprojects
    • Bachelor's Degree or higherin Engineering
    • Experience within wood productsfacilities
    • Working knowledge and experiencewith AutoCAD
    • Mentoring/coaching/developingfacility leadership
