Our awardwinning office products seating sit/standdesks technology support and lighting have led the industry inperformance and simplicity for 40 years.OverviewThe BusinessDevelopment Manager is responsible for identifying and driving newbusiness opportunities through four main functions; ensureeffective relationship management of existing clients seek andonboard new clients and new business facilitate/attend networkingevents and coordinate communications around key projects. They areresponsible for generating new business opportunities in theirterritory actively targeting endusers designers project managersquantity surveyors and other professional consultants. The BDM isresponsible for

    educating their targetaudience on the products and services that Humanscale offer.

    Responsibilities

    • Educating marketing and selling the value of ergonomicworkplace solutions to endusers designers partners project managersquantity surveyors and other professional consultants such asergonomists and occupational health professionals.
    • Always maintain appropriate networking activity levels;minimum 10 high level client appointments per week.
    • Develop a business plan with management for weeklymonthly and quarterly strategic objectives.
    • Facilitate networking activities events introductory meetings forprospective clients.
    • Identify and presentrelevant differentiators added value components and uniqueopportunities for successful project positioning of Humanscale.
    • Seek out comprehend and effectivelycommunicate key client motivating factors the key triggers thatcause them to choose Humanscale over our competitors.
    • Utilize internal resources to increase the likelihood ofHumanscale securing the business. Available resources include CEOPresident Managing Director Regional Director SustainabilityAmbassadors through to Product Managers.
    • Represent Humanscale at professional networking events
    • Complete networking activity & new businessreports as well as maintaining customer contact database.
    • Organize and execute high level networkingevents to raise the profile and awareness of Humanscale as themarket leaders.
    • Coordinate the activityaround all your key projects and ensure that communication andcollaboration is maintained amongst the sales team.
    • Have a strong understanding of all Humanscales productsand consulting services.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate will have5 years business sales experience successfully specifying projectsand selling to large corporate clients
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
    • Successful track record of planning andexecution
    • Working knowledge of MS OFFICE andassociated applications are required ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Knowledge and/or experience in officefurniture or related industry a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal
    • Skillfulnegotiation and presentation abilities
