Purpose of the job:


  • Provide professional Internal Audit activities at the group level and to ensure work compliance of Internal Policies & Procedures as well adherence to the franchises' requirements.
  • Ensure that an acceptable standard of Quality Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practice and company's Quality Manual and Policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Plans the theory or scope of audits and the audit procedures to be used.
  • Prepares Monthly / quarterly audit plans and reviews and evaluates operations and completes work papers to document work performed.
  • Develops audit plans and performs initial and followup audits in accordance with professional standards.
  • Evaluates audit findings, prepares and presents the results of audit work and recommendations to management in the form of oral and written communications.
  • Consults with and advises company administrators and staff on operational and administrative issues.
  • Keeps abreast of company policies and procedures, current developments in auditing professions.
  • Performs and/or supervises the preliminary survey of operations, functions or activities and gathers information on key business risks. Evaluates the adequacy of the controls designed to manage those risks. Discusses strengths and opportunities for improvement with management and develops recommendations for improvement.
  • Manages the audit so that time is efficiently used, deadlines and budgets are met, and departmental quality assurance standards are maintained.
  • Uses and/or supervises the use of standard audit techniques to obtain, analyze and appraise data, transactions and records as a basis for providing an objective opinion on the performance of the business activity and the effectiveness of key risk management activities.
  • To assist in preparation and analysis of monthly management reports.
  • Prepare and/or supervises the preparation of organized, accurate and competent work papers ensuring that documentation clearly supports the conclusions regarding each audit objective.
  • Prepares the final issue matrix and written report and obtains action plans on audit issues. Makes presentations to management, as needed.
  • To carry out any other assignments or special investigation as required by MD.
