    AboutThe Job

    Perform skilledpreventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance and testingof all electrical equipment's in the plant to maintainthe availability and reliability of the processfacilities.

    KeyAccountabilities

    • Isolate and energize Low Voltage LVand High Voltage HV motors, UPS, transformers, generators and Otherelectrical circuits as per Company's enabling certificateauthorization, which includes carrying out the skilled electricalfault finding, diagnosis and troubleshooting of high and lowvoltage equipment.
    • Accept and complete theElectrical isolation confirmation certificate to ensure completionof activities.
    • Identify and obtain spare partsand the necessary tools to meet maintenancerequirements.
    • Carry out the routine, predictiveand preventive maintenance checks on electrical equipment whichincludes visual inspection, to ensure that the equipment are in themost efficient operating condition.
    • Carry outnew installations, modification and testing of equipment throughvarious stages as per plan and in line with supervisor'sinstructions and checks adherence to allparameters.
    • Identify areas for improvement inthe activities performed and assist concerned personnel to carryout modifications and improvements to thesystem.
    • Verify completed maintenance activitiesand complete the maintenance activity sheet / survey to ensure thatthe job is performed as perrequirement.
    • Complete necessary records in thesystem to provide work order failure history reporting. Provideinput for the preparation of Method statements and Initiate Nearmiss reports.
    • Update and maintain drawings,records and other documents related to the electrical forcontinuous availability.
    • Perform other similaror related duties, as required.

    MinimumRequirements

    • Diploma in Electrical discipline orhigher education
    • At least 5 years of experiencein maintaining electrical equipment within a large industrialplant, preferably inthe Oil and Gasindustry.
    • Good knowledge on measurement withprecision tools.
