    Senior Director,Development

    Responsiblefor planning, implementation and management of all aspects ofassigned clinical fundraising program(s) at assigned BeaumontHealth hospital site in coordination with Foundation Manage a majorgift prospect portfolio to identify, cultivate, solicit, andsteward gifts for approved hospital priority Coordinatecollaborative efforts with the Vice President Development and/orVice President Major Gifts, major gifts team and programssupporting the major gifts




    AREASOF RESPONSIBILITY:
    Major Gift fundraising for assignedclinical fundraising program(s) at assigned Beaumont Healthhospital




    ESSENTIALDUTIES:


    Work closely with the Vice President Development and/or VicePresident Major Gifts to develop an overall strategy pluslong-range and annual plan for the program at assigned hospitalTake responsibility for ensuring plans are implemented and goalsare
    Develop and promote relationships with Hospital Administration andMedical ; Perform duties as liaison for the Foundation with thisgroup while promoting a culture of
    Workclosely with the Vice President Development and/or Vice PresidentMajor Gifts to ensure achievement of Beaumont s annual fundraisingtargets as well as any campaign goals and
    Personally manage a portfolio of top prospects for assignedhospital site, developing and implementing plans foridentification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of thesedonors and prospects to meet established fundraising goals andmetrics in collaboration with community and hospital leaders and,as appropriate, other major gift
    Ensurecollaboration with other Foundation program areas that support themajor gifts program following Foundation policies and
    Collaborate with Foundation s Operations team regarding restrictedfunds for assigned clinical program(s) and work closely with theDirector Stewardship Restricted Fund Operations to ensurerestricted funds are spent following the Restricted Fund Management

    Requirements

    Education / Training: Bachelor s degree required; masters degree and CFRE

    Work Experience:
    Five to seven years of experience infundraising with significant experience in major gifts and capital; Experience in planned giving is also ; Strong management skillsare required along with experience in health ; Also, evidencerequired of working successfully with volunteers and committees andwith prospects for six- and seven-figure


    Certification, Licensure,Registration:
    Other Qualifications:

    Knowledge of all aspects of fundraising and how they interrelate tothe whole program plus the ability to develop effective strategiesand detailed plans for each fundraising
    Ability to manage staff effectively, to build strong teams and toobtain the best efforts of staff members focused on achieving set
    Ability to build strong relationships with donors and volunteersand motivate people to make gifts and help to secure gifts insupport of a specific institution and/or
