As we continue to expand ouroperations we are seeking a dynamic and experienced ProductionManager to join our team in AbuDhabi.

    RoleOverview:As a Production Manager you will beresponsible for overseeing all aspects of the production processwithin our marine facility. From coordinating workflow to ensuringadherence to safety standards and quality control measures you willplay a crucial role in driving operational efficiency anddelivering projects on time and withinbudget.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    1. ProductionPlanning andScheduling:
      • Developand implement production plans to meet project timelines and clientrequirements.
      • Coordinate with project managersengineers and other stakeholders to allocate resourceseffectively.
      • Monitor production schedules andadjust as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimizedelays.
    2. ResourceManagement:
      • Managea team of production staff including supervisors technicians andlaborers.
      • Assign tasks and responsibilitiesensuring that each team member understands their role in theproduction process.
      • Conduct regular performanceevaluations and provide coaching and feedback for continuousimprovement.
    3. QualityAssurance:
      • Establishand maintain quality control standards for all productionactivities.
      • Conduct inspections and audits toidentify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industryregulations and standards.
      • Implement correctiveactions as needed to address quality issues and preventreoccurrence.
    4. HealthandSafety:
      • Promotea culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols andprocedures.
      • Conduct regular safety meetings andtraining sessions to educate staff on best practices and riskmitigation strategies.
      • Investigate accidentsand incidents and implement preventive measures to minimizeworkplacehazards.
    5. Supplierand VendorManagement:
      • Liaisewith suppliers and vendors to procure materials and equipmentrequired for production.
      • Negotiate contractsand agreements to ensure favorable terms and costeffectivesolutions.
      • Monitor supplier performance andaddress any issues or concerns in a timelymanner.
    6. ContinuousImprovement:
      • Identifyopportunities for process optimization and cost reductioninitiatives.
      • Implement Lean manufacturingprinciples and other methodologies to streamline workflows andimprove productivity.
      • Foster a culture ofinnovation and encourage employee involvement in problemsolving andideageneration.

    QualificationsandExperience:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Engineering Industrial Management or a relatedfield.
    • Proven experience in productionmanagement within the marine industry with at least 5 years in asupervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of marineconstruction techniques materials andequipment.
    • Excellent leadership andcommunication skills with the ability to motivate and inspireteams.
    • Proficiency in project managementsoftware and MS Officeapplications.
    • Familiarity with qualitymanagement systems (ISO 9001) health and safety regulations andindustry bestpractices.
