    Description

    Responsiblefor all maintenance and technicalprojects.Theincumbent will schedule plan forecast resource and manage all thetechnical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy andquality from conception tocompletion.Workclosely with line manager and stakeholders to reduce the incidenceof costly breakdowns improve production facilities and develop planto improve overall reliability and safety of plant and productionprocesses.


    FUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

    MaintenanceProjects:

    Inconsultation with the Line Manager and project stakeholders prepareschedule coordinate and monitor the assigned maintenanceprojects.

    Mobilisemanpower and resources to complete the project deliverables ontime.

    Performoverall quality control of the work (budget schedule planspersonnel s performance) and report regularly on projectstatus.

    Cooperateand communicate effectively with line manager and other processowners to provide assistance and technicalsupport.

    Reviewmaintenance project deliverables and initiate appropriatecorrective actions. Implement and manage project changes andinterventions to achieve projectoutputs

    Performrisk management to minimize projectrisks.

    Maintainingand managing stocks of supplies parts and equipment s required formaintenanceprojects.

    Maintainrecords of maintenance and repair costs incidents andprocedures.

    GeneralMaintenance:

    Planand coordinate annual and multiyear maintenance programs includingadvice on strategies and operationalefficiencies.

    Scheduledpreventive maintenance tasks have to complete for over a certainperiodIt benchmarks the efficacy of PM programs and indicates how well PMschedules are being adhered w.r.t.KPI.

    Contributeto the development of long term strategic policies and programs inrelation to asset maintenance andmanagement.

    Assistthe Line Manager for the forecasting preparation and execution ofall systems / Maintenance budgets andprojections.

    SupportsLine manager in retaining all diagram catalogues maintenanceinstructions etc. in respect of plant machinery / installation andact as an expert advisor for consultation on suchmatters.

    Overseesmaintenance schedules and work orders and makes tactical decisionsto optimize utilization of resources in alignment with equipmentavailability and plant priorities ensuring it is within thestipulatedbudget.

    Analyzebreakdowns identify root causes and initiate preventive measures toensure minimal loss of production time. Follow up correctiveactions and implement countermeasures to minimize reoccurrence offaults.

    Assistin developing implementing maintaining and updating the maintenancesystems policies procedures processes and programs and ensure theymeet and match ISO and management procedures for efficient runningof all company operations andfacilities.

    Liaisewith any external / third party suppliers service providers andcustomers as and when required to ensure that company s maintenanceneeds and systems are fully supported at alltimes.

    Participatein team meetings to discuss about maintenance status and ongoingproblems and contribute to and support continuous improvementinitiatives.

    Providetraining support and technical advice to operational and technicalstaff.

    Toensure that all facilities and equipment relating to themaintenance section are regularly maintained and held in goodcondition with minimum possible downtime and that all housekeepingfunctions are fully maintained at alltimes.

    Directobservance of safety precautions to operating personnel and ensurethat the safety and security of all personnel and facilities arekept paramount at all times; identify potential hazards and suggestsafety measures in coordination with the HSEteam.

    Ensurecompliance to Safety Quality Food Safety and Environmentrequirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System withstrict adherence to ISO and local regulatoryauthority.

    Ensurethat all records and documents are up to date and have fulltraceability and retrieval at all times and that all processesprocedures & activities comply with ISO and managementprocedures.

    Activelymonitors industry trends equipment and process innovations andemerging technologies and creates initiatives to capitalize on newopportunities.

    Tokeep abreast of latest developments in the field of utilitymaintenance and to advise the management accordingly forimplementation of the latest systems / equipment andprocesses.

    Requirements

    Education/Qualifications

    GraduateEngineer preferably in Mechatronics or Diplomaholder

    Experience

    IfGraduate Engineer minimum 8 years of handson experience inorganizing predictive and preventivemaintenance

    ForDiploma holders minimum 10 years of handson experience inorganizing predictive and preventivemaintenance

    FunctionalSkills & SpecificKnowledge

    Handsonin PLC trouble shooting Electrical & electronics troubleshootingetc.

    Knowledgeof the occupational hazards and safety precautions for utilitymaintenance

    Strongsupervisory and leadershipskills.

    Fullyconversant with MIS systems MS Word and MSExcel.
