    Manager Business Development - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Talent Pal

    Description

    The Business Development Managerdrives market position and achievement of business outcomes throughthe Account Management and Commercial Operations Core Process. Thisposition is the core sales position within the company responsiblefor new business and clients as well as managing and leveragingexisting accounts. The Business Development Manager drives resultsthrough individual and collective team sales efforts.

    What You Will Do:

    • Contribute to strategicinitiatives and planning through an extensive knowledge of marketconditions within their assigned specific location or group oflocations country or group of countries market sector and/orproduct(s).
    • Sell ABS services using thestrength of local affiliates business structure.
    • Develop and maintain key client relationshipswith a focus on maintaining current work and expanding new businessopportunities and prospect for new clients and businessopportunities within your assigned responsibility.
    • Lead the development of visit plans forassigned clients and area of responsibility to include organizingclient meetings for ABS senior management.
    • Maintains awareness of the overall ABS serviceportfolio and promote services/products when appropriate ensuringpeers and teams outside your core responsibility are aware ofpotential opportunities and needed action.
    • Work with organizational teams to developcapture strategies proposals and pricing as appropriate.
    • Work with technical staff and other internalteams as needed to meet customer needs.
    • Provide strategic insight within the assignedarea or responsibility related to future business initiativesmarket drivers and competitor activities for inclusion in businessplanning.
    • Identify opportunities for marketingcampaigns within the area of responsibility that will lead toincreased sales.
    • Submit reports as needed andensure data is accurately entered and managed within the companysCRM.
    • Forecast sales targets and track activityon accounts to meet these targets

    What You Will Need:

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelors degree or recognizedequivalent from an accredited university or equivalentbusiness/qualityrelated experience.
    • 5 or moreyears of experience in the industry is preferred.
    • Business experience in the manufacturingand/or technical service industry.

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities

    • Selfmotivated professional with atrack record of sales leadership.
    • High energyprofessional with a commitment to succeed in sales and businessdevelopment.
    • Facile with computers both inpreparing presentations and communications and in working withinABS QEs operating platforms.
    • Familiarity withmanagement systems is helpful. Otherwise the ability to learn newareas quickly will be critical.
    • Sensitive tomulticultural environments.
    • Excellentcommunicator both with customers and the sales team.
    • Focus on the result; strong desire to achieveobjectives despite challenges.
    • Ability todevelop a working knowledge of ABS Rules Guides statutoryregulations and related instructions as well as the ABS EmployeeSafety Policy.

    ReportingRelationships:

    Reports directly to theDirector of Business Development or senior levelmanager.
