    Description
    • Carry out a training needsanalysis at complex, hotel, departmental and individuallevel.
    • Utilizing Academie Accor, create anannual hotel L&D plan specific to the needs of the businessand in line with budget.
    • Facilitate thecreation of personal development plans within the business linkinginto departmental manpower and successionplanning.
    • Enable the creation of departmentaltraining plans that maximise the potential of people at work inline with budget.
    • Ensure each hotel produces amonthly planned training program ensuring details are posted as perprocedure.
    • To create and maintain a studenttraining program in conjunction with business demands andrecruitment levels.
    • In conjunction with theHealth & Safety Officer, ensure that our statutoryobligations to the Health & Safety of our guests andassociates are fulfilled.
    • Monitor present andfuture trends, practices and systems in the L&D fieldmaking necessary recommendations to enhance our businessprofitability.
    • Create a succession planningmonitoring system that supports individual career development andour businessgoals.

    TrainingDelivery

    • To develop,manage and deliver a professional induction mentoring program whereall employees are given a comprehensive hotel induction and aregiven the correct information regarding the company, the hotel andtheir job.
    • Ensure that all necessary statutorytraining is carried out to comply with governmentlegislation.
    • Establish and monitor departmentalskills training via a mentoring system to enhance individualcompetence, using departmental trainerseffectively.
    • Establish and deliver training toenable an excellent guest care culture throughout thegroup.
    • Design and implement opportunities towiden employee experience through – reading, films,external vocational training, cross trainingetc.
    • Develop and deliver supervisory andManagement skills training to enhance individual competence andsupport succession planningactivities.
