    Key Responsibilities:

    NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
    Identify and assess new business opportunities aligned with the company's strategic goals. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the client base. Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling pitches and proposals. Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.


    RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events, site visits and networking functions. Develop and nurture a network of industry contacts to support business development efforts.


    MARKET RESEARCH:
    Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth. Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence. Conduct market segmentation analysis to identify target clients and tailor business development strategies accordingly.


    TEAM COLLABORATION:
    Work closely with the Head of Sales to align business development strategies with overall sales objectives. Provide guidance and support to the sales team in pursuing new business opportunities. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.


    STRATEGIC PLANNING:
    Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, outlining key objectives and milestones. Monitor and evaluate the success of business development initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to inform business development strategies.

    Qualifications & Education:
    Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, with a focus on the Engineering services.

    Ideally experience in the following sectors:
    AEC, Construction, Transportation, Energy and Renewables, Defense. Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs particularly pertaining to secondment / Time and Material. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

    Having provided clients with solutions for fixed price projects pertaining to deliverables upon milestones of projects in the engineering sector.

    Being a flexible and motivated team player. Handle the Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) very well. Having a client minded and goal-oriented focus and you have a problem-solving attitude. Excellent English Communication. Other language would be an advantage Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel) Detail oriented.
