Imports Clearance
•Accountable for verification of import shipment documents &their accuracy.
• Ensure that MOFI regulationsare met during the clearing of importconsignments.
• Ensure compliance to MOFAICregulations for import clearance.
• Ensure thatCustoms regulations are met during the clearing of importconsignments.
• Ensure accuracy of customsdeclaration elements like HS code in importclearance.
• Ensure the debit card account forduty exemption is valid and adequate funds are available all thetime.
• SLA Imports Clearance — within3 workings days of vessel arrival.
• SLA ImportsDelivery — post-clearance within 48 hours for dry& ISO tank containers.
• Supervise andcontrol the activities carried out by Logistics executivesregarding import operations.
ExportManagement
• Ensure the safety &security of all vehicles by following all guidelines set inPATROM
• Point of escalation for matters relatedto exports.
• Adherence to the global contractfor freight forwarding and compliance to it.
•In- charge for the operations and stock in the 3PL exportwarehouse.
• Understand the customerrequirements for the various facets of the business — interms of the service levels agreements and freight costetc.
• Supervise and control the activitiescarried out by Logistics executives regarding exportoperations.
• Be responsible to coordinate andcommunicate between the sales team and the plant for therequirements and ensure that the requirements are wellmet.
• Ensure daily communication to the salesteam on the status of sales orders.
• Ensuretimely communication to the sales team on the status of theirexport / local documents.
• Ensure systematicreplenishment of stocks for the warehouse so that there are nostockouts for the products agreed to maintain stocklevels.
• Delegate appropriately theresponsibilities as listed above to the team and ensure the bestresults as a team in line with theexpectations.
• Be responsible to implement theQuality Management System so that effective and efficient resultsare achieved.
• To ensure that the PATROMrequirements are met by the Contractors including SAFE TO LOADchecks.
• To ensure that the vehicle planning isdone takes into account PATROM requirements such as DriverTraining, vehicle capacities, night waiver, route assessments,etc.
• Controlling consumable for the warehouseoperations.
• Conduct ORM with service providerson a set schedule and take appropriate action on issues thatarises.
• Focal point of customer complaintsrelated to logistics– to be resolved in KISSFLOW withinstipulated time.
• Update sales volume for PSLmeetings.
• Personally resolve criticallogistics problems in order to ensure contractual commitments aremet and any operational impact is minimized.
•Verification of goods & serviceinvoices.
JOB RELATED OBJECTIVES &ASSIGNMENTS :

• Ensure the operations is as per the setSOP and responsible for its periodic updates
•Control Demurrage and port Storage charges.
• Noorders to be missed out in the executionprocess.

•100 % Compliance with local regulations and contractualobligations.
• Expenditure is controlled andmanaged within the history and trends.
• Activeparticipation in internal and external audits.
•Implementation of BOE in WMS. Customs inventory should be matchingwith the TEMME inventory. Explanation on thedifference.
COST MANAGEMENT (IMPORTS &EXPORT)
• Control demurrage and portStorage.
• Target for capacity utilization ofimport & export fleet.
QHSE OBJECTIVESAND ASSIGNMENTS :
• To understand and adhere tothe current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas ofresponsibility.
• Conduct regular audits andwalk around to review the potential losses in the areas ofresponsibility.
• Reporting of near misses,incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within thetime frame as required by QHSE policy andManuals
• To contribute, meet and improve uponthe KPI and targets as set towards overall QHSE & Energyobjectives.
• Selection and availability ofapplicable PPEs at all times and ensuring the strict use of PPEs inthe work area of responsibility.
• Take part inthe training program to acquire QHSE & Energy Managementknowledge.
• Participate in the safety riskassessment, health risk assessment, planned general inspections,loss control tours, and other kinds of audits as per the TLBU QHSErequirements.
• Participate in the investigationand analysis of incidents as and whenrequired.
• Strict adherence to QHSErequirements with full authority to stop any operation for safetyreasons.
• Maintain 100% compliance onPATROM
• Strict adherence and compliance towardsGroup HSE Charter & MAESTRO requirements andaffiliate's HSEQ Policy, Procedures & specificrules & regulations applicable to the area of activity atall times.
• Demonstrates exemplary conduct,rigor, vigilance, and professionalism regarding HSE in all theiractivities.
• Ensure adherence to complianceprocesses and guidelines specific to the position's rolesand responsibilities.
• To comply with the TEMMESafe Work Permit program (as per the PTW roles and responsibilityassignment: process owner/ permit applicant/ issuing authority andapproval authority)
• Strict adherence to QHSErequirements with full authority to stop any operation for safetyreasons.
Contexte etenvironnement
CONTEXT ANDENVIRONMENT
• Will be the key responsible forthe day-to-day handling of all export dispatches with the keyobjectives of Fleet management, meeting / exceeding the agreedservice levels".
• Preparation& active involvement in Tender documentation for warehouseand transportation such as scope of work and contractreviews.
• Will be the key responsibility tohandle all import-related activities including but not limited tointeracting with local authorities and serviceproviders.
• Conduct annual interim and annualperformance review of the team in Import & Exportdept.
• Act in day-to-day operations in absenceof Sr. Executive exports and imports.
• Liaisewith government authorities viz customs, port authorities, DPW,MOFI, MOFAIC, Dubai municipality and FANR
