    Description

    Currently we are servicing anenergy company in the UAE. They are a leading organizationdedicated to providing reliable and efficient power transmissionand distribution services to our community. They are looking for aHead of Operations and Maintenance for their power distributionassets in various locations. This is a strategic role that willallow someone to develop and further enhance their growingportfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible foroverseeing all aspects of power transmission and distributionoperations and maintenance activities within our organization. Thisrole requires a strong leader with exceptional technical knowledgestrategic planning abilities and a focus on driving operationalefficiency and excellence. Other responsibilities willinclude:

    • Develop andimplement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize powertransmission and distribution operations in alignment withorganizational goals andobjectives.
    • Leadmotivate and mentor a team of operations and maintenanceprofessionals to ensure high performance productivity and adherenceto safetystandards.
    • Managethe operation and maintenance of power transmission anddistribution networks including substations transformers andswitchgear to maintain system reliability andintegrity.
    • Developand implement comprehensive asset management strategies to optimizethe performance and lifespan of power transmission and distributionassets.
    • Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements industry standards andsafety protocols to maintain a safe working environment andmitigate operationalrisks.
    • Developand manage power budgets forecasts and expenditures to ensureoptimal resource allocation and costcontrol.
    • Establishand maintain effective relationships with vendors contractors andstakeholders to support operational objectives and projectdelivery.
    • Implementkey performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics tomonitor and evaluate operational performance identify areas forimprovement and drive operationalexcellence.
    • Developand implement emergency response plans and procedures toeffectively manage and mitigate risks during power systemdisruptions oremergencies.
    • Stayabreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identifyopportunities for innovation and technology integration in poweroperations and maintenancepractices.


    Requirements

    Tobe considered for this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Masters degreepreferred.
    • Minimumof 7 years of experience in power transmission and distributionoperations and maintenance with at least 3 years in a leadershiprole.
    • Strongtechnical knowledge of power systems substations transformersswitchgear and distributionnetworks.
    • Proventrack record of strategic planning project management andoperationalexcellence.
    • Excellentleadership communication and interpersonalskills.
    • Demonstratedability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects simultaneouslyand meetdeadlines.
    • Knowledgeof regulatory requirements industry standards and safety protocolsrelated to power transmission anddistribution.
    • Proficiencyin budget management financial analysis and costcontrol.
    • Abilityto foster a collaborative and inclusive workenvironment.
    • Validdrivers license and willingness to travel asneeded.

Ability to fostera collaborative and inclusive work environment. Valid driver'slicense and willingness to travel as needed.
