A renowned oil company in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a Logistics Assistant


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in supervising Delivery drivers and helpers.
  • Receive delivery request from Sales Coordinator every day for next day deliveries.
  • Help in planning and scheduling deliveries for next day and provide updates to Sales team and warehouse.
  • Monitor attendance and update time keeping for distribution staff.
  • Assist in attending reported emergencies and accidents and administer immediate action.
  • Maintain records & delivery details for hired trucks.
  • Assist in preparing Arabic Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificate and Packing List for all export shipments.
  • Prepare shipment advice for all export shipments.
  • Collect Delivery Orders for import shipments from the shipping agents.
  • Assist Customs clearing officer in customs duty exemption from IDB and customs clearing process.
  • Process custom bills from Abu Dhabi custom
  • Submit to Abu Dhabi Custom and Terminal Custom the required bills and documents for clearance of incoming and outgoing cargoes.
  • Maintain records of all payments along with supporting documents and submit to petty cashier.
  • Coordinate with the Logistic Department pertaining to arranging twoway transport of container.
  • Maintain a list of all customs transactions with Customs Bills and all related details.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and Department Head.
  • Receive containers from the Seaport Yard. Coordinate with the Logistic Department pertaining to arranging twoway transport of container.
  • Supervise transport vehicle in bringing container to the Company Warehouse for loading and returning to the Port Area for shipping to exporting country.

Skills:


  • Must be fluent in English & Arabic
  • Must have 23 yrs experience in similar field
  • UAE Driving license is required
  • Should be able to prepare reports and have good knowledge in MS Office
  • Must be willing to work on holidays and out of office hours when required.

Salary:
AED4, AED6,000.00 per month
