Job summary/Roledescription

EachAssistant reports to the Supervisor of the relevant discipline. He/She collaborates with his/her own Supervisor in directingSubcontractor activities within the area assigned to him within hisown Discipline.
He/she is the first interfacebetween the Subcontractor and the Site Organization with regard toProject standards and specifications and the first controller ofthe Subcontractor's activities and of the Quality of thelatter'sworks.

Duties andresponsibilities

Toco-ordinate any subcontractor activities falling within his ownarea, including both intermediate and final inspections andtests.
To valuate test results, the validity ofcertificates and related reports, informingthe
Supervisor of anydefect.
To check that Construction works are inaccordance with Project specifications and related standards andcomply to the Quality Control Plan for his ownarea.
To note the work quantities performed bysubcontractors and on this basis prepare the construction monthlyprogress report for his own area.
To check thedetailed activity plan for his own area and compare it with workprogress.
