    SUMMARY:

    Thisposition will be a member of the Manufacturing Services Teamsupporting the Manufacturing Solution business processes for all ofTyson. The position works within a team environment as a businesspartner and liaison to the IS organization to implement enterprisesolutions to existing manufacturing processes and identifyopportunities for process improvement and systems integration.Please make sure to include a resume in a pdf or Wordformat.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Implementmodifications to systems and processes to capitalize onopportunities.
    • Analyze existingmanufacturing processes and systems to identify waste redundancyand process bottlenecks.
    • Act as keyliaison and support to Operations and act as catalyst to implementchange.
    • Capable of offering adviceto the business with an emphasis on functional expertise andtechnical experience for processimprovement.
    • Conduct feasibilitystudies to define the purpose functions and overall structure ofbusiness process.
    • Perform analysisof business processes leading to process change and or systemimplementation to include end usertraining.
    • Creation of properdocumentation as required by IS methodologies including but notlimited to functional specifications business scenarios andimplementation plans.
    • Responsiblefor continuous improvement of functional knowledge and technicalproficiency in enterprise applications: Materials ManagementQuality Management and Production Scheduling as well as thepromotion of the effective utilization of technology throughout theorganization.
    • Assess organizationalprocess capabilities and mentor and train team members in processimprovement methodologies andtools.
    • Provide management withaccurate and timely status reports of all projects assigned tothem.


    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Education:B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree OR Masters with B.S. in Engineering or equivalent technical degreepreferred.
    • Experience:6-10 years of relevant work experience in lieu ofdegree. Management of Consumer Products Manufacturing experiencedesired. Knowledge of manufacturing execution in an environment ofSupply Chain Optimization Production Planning Detailed ProductionScheduling and Process Costingdesired.
    • ComputerSkills: Standard computer skills; Proficiency withMicrosoft Office tools required; ability to create writtendocumentation; familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems andSAP MM QM and PP PI modules aplus.
    • CommunicationSkills: Excellent verbal and written communicationskills; ability to present difficult concepts in understandableterms to all levels of theorganization.
    • SpecialSkills: Extensive knowledge ofand experience with the business processes related to consumerproducts manufacturing; excellent leadership consultative andinterpersonal skills; organized results-orientedfocus.
    • Travel:Extensive travel isrequired.
