    The team

    The Middle East markets (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait) is one of our domestic and most mature markets.

    The Planning & Analytics team sits within Rider Operations and is responsible for the availability ,reliability and efficiency of the delivery network across all three countries in the Middle East. This includes fleet size planning, network management, logistics, incentives and rider pricing.

    You will report to the Senior Strategy and Performance Manager and be based in our offices in Dubai.

    The role

    You'll ensure the success of the logistics network in our Middle East markets. This centers around ensuring that we always have the right number of riders on the road in the right place at the right time, solving topics such as how to best incentivise the fleet, how to handle poor weather, and creating scalable processes to ensure an impressive baseline of network performance.

    You'll work with other members of the Middle East rider operations teams, and wider teams within UKI Operations and Global Operations, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our riders, restaurants and customers.

    What you'll do:

    Ensure that we have the right number of riders working in the right place at the right time, and maintain and improve upon an existing set of levers to achieve this.

  • Make recommendations on how to allocate our resources to ensure the best possible network outcomes, for instance through managing our incentive spend.

    • Track our key metrics, look for unusual trends in our data and uncover root causes to ensure that we preserve the health of the network.

  • Work alongside other members of the Middle East Rider Operations team to ensure that we operate to budget, accommodate the needs of commercial team members, and maintain the appropriate fleet size, for instance by setting appropriate new rider supply targets.
  • Provide regular, relevant, concise updates on network performance to wider business partners.

    • Requirements

  • A high standard of university level education or equivalent experience in consulting, program management, supply chain management, engineering or a high-growth startup.
  • You always know what is happening in your area of responsibility, and have a curiosity to uncover and diagnose unusual outcomes.
  • 4-5 years of experience building scalable processes and structured change methodologies
  • You have an analytical mindset and are comfortable with large datasets (experience with SQL, Python).
  • You have excellent partner management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling multiple workstreams at the same time, working both individually and as part of a team
