- To qualify and generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on Breakbulk and Out of Gauge (OOG) shipments, specific Industries, Areas / Territories, National Key Accounts, Special Products and New Markets.
- To create value for Customers and Kuehne+Nagel Project Logistics and to foster relationships.
- To drive profitable growth.
- To demonstrate superior Project Logistics product and market knowledge
- To attend customer events, exhibitions, and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about our industry solutions.
- To monitor our competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing & products
- To report customer complaints to the Customer Excellence Team.
- To align with the Customer Excellence Team when onboarding new customers and review regularly.
- To use the CRM (CoreLog) to maintain and update customer information, report customer complaints to the Customer Excellence Team and perform related CRM tasks.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Logistics field.
- Having commercial mind-set and working knowledge about Sea, Road, Air logistics (Break bulk & Charter, RoRo, Containers,
- Lowbeds with Oversized and Heavy Lift Cargos).
- Market and technical knowledge for Project Cargo handling & Project Cargo procedures
- Strong communication and networking skills with the ability to convince
- Ambitious to succeed, keen to work in teams, strong willed and target oriented
- Proven sales experience with strong customer and solution orientation
- Ability to build customer value propositions

We are looking for an experienced National Business Development Manager - Project Logistics to take on a challenging and evolving role in our Abu Dhabi branch.Your Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible to identify and generate new business opportunities within the Power, Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructure Industries for Kuehne+Nagel Project Logistics. They have a deep understanding of the Project Logistics market, service offerings and operational requirements. They spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business and working hand in hand with Pricing and Customer Excellence Teams.
