    Description

    We are currently working with aSovereign Wealth Fund based in Abu Dhabi looking for a strongPerformance & Reporting Associate to join their team. Thepurpose of the role is to contribute to the technical developmentand enhancement of investment performance measurement andmanagement reporting capabilities ensuring the timely delivery ofaccurate and insightful analytics. The role involves theintegration of various data systems the creation and maintenance ofa performance data mart and the optimization of SQL queries andtechnical operation of the investment performance measurementsystem all critical in monitoring assets under management. Thisposition plays a crucial role in identifying potential risksdeveloping improvements and enhancements to service offerings andinteracting with management on performance measurement andanalysis. The Senior Associate will be responsible for leading newprojects to optimize existing processes and for troubleshooting anyissues that arise. This includes writing efficient codecollaborating with other developers and providing support tobusiness project teams. Additionally the Senior Associate will beinvolved in maintaining and operating existing custom codeprocesses ensuring the continued efficiency and accuracy of ourreporting capabilities.

    Collateanalyze and document business requirements to support projectsenhancements and systemimplementations.

    Translate business requirements into functional andtechnical specifications to facilitate system design andimplementation.

    Provide architectural input to the design of newsolutions focusing on supportability reliability andmaintainability.

    Lead the coordination with IT and vendors for supportactivities and operationalmaintenance.

    Create and execute detailed testing scenarios and testcases including the collation of necessary testdata.

    Develop new and extend existing investment performancereports using various development technologies andtoolkits.

    Automate the sourcing transformation and loading ofinvestment data into various thirdparty and internal investmentsolutions databases and enduser Microsoftsolutions.

    Monitor the integrity and correct processing of anyexternal data feeds reporting any issues to the relevant IT andBusiness teams.

    Perform technical and business validation of any dataloaded into the investment solutions ensuring that any datadiscrepancies are remedied orexplained.

    Configure vendor solutions which can include workflowsscreen configuration data feeds access rights dashboards andreports.

    Raise and monitor software defects with externalsoftware vendors and ensure that the issues are tracked andresolved within an appropriatetimeframe.

    Perform enduser training and system orientation fornew and existing solutions.

    Work on the integration between theCompany s performance measurement system Companys data warehouseand Company s data warehouse.

    Develop new codes scripts and featuresusing SQL and Python in collaboration with otherdevelopers.



    Requirements

    Education
    Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Technology Science Engineeringor Finance.
    Technicalcertifications in SQL VBA andPython
    Professionalcertifications such as CIPM CFA or PMP preferred.

    Experience

    8 years of experience in SQL and Relational Database developmentideally Oracle SQL and MicrosoftSQL
    8 years of directly relevantexperience with an asset management asset owner or asset servicerfirm
    7 years of experience withdata engineering concepts for automatic endtoend collectiontransformation and data processing using ETL and RESTAPIs
    5 years of BusinessIntelligence design and implementation with technologies such asMicrosoft PowerBI Plotly Dash
    3years of experience programming inPython
    3 years of experience withCloud platform such as Microsoft Azure.
    Experience with specializedfinancial software such as Bloomberg/FactSet/BISAMBOne
