    Description

    The Chair of Oncology Services is theclinical and academic leader of the Department of Oncology. In thiscapacity, the Chair provides clinical leadership, supervision, andgrowth development to the various entities within OncologyServices.

    He will provide the department withdirection, a vision, goal setting, and input to key strategic,clinical, financial, and operational issues that align with theorganizational goals of and the needs of the community andpatients.

    He will have the opportunity tobuild an internationally recognized program while leading anddeveloping clinical,

    research, academic, andtraining strategies for the Department ofOncology.

    He will work in collaboration withother divisions, departments, and organizationalleaders.

    Assist in the development andcommunication of new patient-centric clinical programsand

    department strategy and goals, includingambulatory, acute, and supportive care.

    • Advance development and visibility ofthe healthcare facility as a leader in cancer care, includingclinical services, supportive services, and strategic partnerships(locally, regionally, and internationally)

    Requirements The IdealCandidate would have the followingperquisites:

    MD or DO Degree inOncology (Required)

    Master's Degreeor PhD Management, Business, or Healthcare Administration(Preferred)

    ExperienceRequirements

    5 plus yearsexperience in oncology or surgical oncology clinicalpractice.

    5 plus Experience in an oncologyleadership role(s).

    Will require an activelicense to practice medicine in the UAE.
