Jamil Ahmed

For the last 18 years, I am in nursing field. Since 2008 I am working in Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University UAE as a lecturer. Employees and student from Forty six different nationalities are working and studding in RAKMHSU, which helped me to improve my communication and managerial skills. My core duties include delivery of lectures to BScN and Post RN students, supervisions of students in different hospitals of UAE and teaching clinical skills to students and hospital staff nurses. 

After completing my Bsc. Nursing from Aga Khan University in 2004, I had joined Aga Khan University Hospital as Registered Nurse in Pediatric Department and performed all the required duties a registered nurse being entitled to. 

 In 2005, I joined Shifa International Hospital and College of Nursing Islamabad as clinical Instructor.  I was responsible for lecture delivery to the undergrad nursing students, supervision of Bsc. Nursing students in clinical wards and continuous nursing education for newly join nurses of the hospital besides teaching clinical skills. 

In October 2006, I moved to Shalamar Hospital and college of Nursing Lahore as clinical coordinator and Instructor. My responsibilities while I was working in Shalamar Hospital and college of nursing were to deliver lectures to the BSN, RNBSN student and staff nurses, Assign student duties in the hospital, supervision of the student in the clinical area, interviewing student for enrollment in to the nursing programs, external examiner for the University of Health Sciences (UHS) students.
