    Description
    • Lead the coordination process withother disciplines.
    • Assist the Resident Engineerin performing the contractual duties onsite.
    • Processing of contract documents& assist contractadministration.
    • Develops, modifies and reviewsproduction drawings and constructiondocuments.
    • Corrects and updates designdocuments.
    • Serves as an architectural resourcefor the Design department.
    • Provides resolutionfor technical engineering problems within the assigneddiscipline(s); coordinates application of solutions to ensureprogress on site.
    • Advise the project manager ofany technical aspects of the architectural works that may affectconstruction progress, quality and thelike.
    • Hands on in monitoring the interiorarchitectural works for conformance with the provisions of thecontract documents and the proceduresmanual.
    • Reviewing, and processing all shopdrawings and architectural technicalsubmittals.
    • Answering RFI's relatedto interior and architecture.
    • Reviewconstruction submittals from project inception toclose-out.
    • ReviewContractor's installation methodstatements.
    • Review Contractor's shopdrawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance withthe design intent and return to project manager with appropriatecomments / approval.
    • ReviewContractor's material proposals against specified technicalperformance requirements and advise the Project Manager on theappropriateness of the proposals.
    • ReviewContractor's proposed sub contractor(s) associated with theengineering works from a technicalstandpoint.
    • Monitorsprocurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support ofconstruction activities and schedule within the assigneddiscipline.
    • Undertake general project siteobservation / inspection of the works for Contractor'sadherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant'sspecification, good working practices, the construction scheduleand health & safety.
    • Lead the snaggingand de-snagging process with an aim to progress the works tocompletion through this process.
    • Attendproject, site progress and any related technical meetings asdirected by the project manager.
    • Prepare draftsite / engineer's instructions, relating to the project, asrequired and issue to the ProjectManager.

    • Provide advice to the Project Managerin regard to any variation costs that may be claimed by theContractor during the course of theworks.
    • Oversee architects and inspectors forall architectural work and ensure that installation activitiescomply with contractual obligations and quality controlstandards.
    • Ensures that the project qualitycontrol procedures are used for the construction supervision worksand monitors it for improvement.
    • Collaborateswith construction management to eliminate any hazards associatedwith the work that may adversely affect the environment or thesafety or health of employees.
    • Reviews andinterprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensurecurrent re vision level and correct technical execution of thework.
    • Performs works inspection requests andmaterial inspection requests as required to supportjuniors.
    • Performs other responsibilitiesassociated with this position as may beappropriate.
