    Whatyou'll do...

    • Lead a large, dynamic kitchen team inone of the most exciting culinary operations to open on the GoldCoast.
    • Working collaboratively withEnnismore's global F&B team, Carte Blanched, onrestaurant concepts and collaborative innovation and creating a newinnovative menu.
    • Lead the vision of excellence,bringing brands and concepts to life and installing this cultureinto the team.
    • Have a firm grip on the costs ofthe restaurant kitchen, from labour through to always striving tofind efficient solutions whilst maintaining the quality andintegrity of the menu.
    • Both guest and teamexperience will be at the heart of all you do. You'lllead your team by example, keeping them involved and motivated;helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providingtop experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you withquestions.
    • Keep close to market trends inrestaurants both locally and globally to ensure your venues remaincompetitive in both landscapes
    • Leadingrelationships with local suppliers and upholding farm to tablesustainable ethos
    • Delivery of budgets &department profit
    • Promote guest satisfactionthroughout the operation. Respond to guest complaints in a timelymanner.
    • Implement repeat guest recognitionprograms to build loyalty to theoperation.
    • Maintain a high-level path toachieving brand goals, such as 50 Best and Hattedawards
    • Act as a liaison between the communityand the Food and Beverage operation.
    • Workseamlessly with brand partners and corporatepartnerships.

    Qualifications

    Whatwe're looking for...

    • 6+ years' experience in asimilar Exec Head Chef role in a busy, bustling restaurant group orleading lifestyle hotel with freshness and provenance ofingredients as a key priority
    • Proven trackrecord managing large operations and ideally experience of a newopening.
    • A true passion for creativity whilstmaintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the disheson the menu.
    • Experience in open fire cookingideally working with regional seafood and has strong relationshipwith quality produce and its sourcing.
    • A Strongproblem-solving and decision-maker, someone who has a track recordin setting up new processes and functions and has a good eye fordetail
    • A great communicator with stakeholdersacross the business at all levels and external partners. You willhave the ability to interact and articulate the culinary vision andget teams as excited as weare.
    • You're naturally curious andwant to challenge the status quo by bringing your own ideas to thefore.
    • You're super organised and willbe able to calmly jump from project to project and managecompeting, and sometimes conflictingpriorities
    • You must be genuinely interested inour industry; whether that's a love for a delicious meal,a decent drink, a cosy bed or a traveladventure
    • Someone proactive and able to workindependently but likes being sociable & collaborativetoo
