    Description
    • Maximise all Group, Conference,and Event revenue opportunities
    • Review businessplans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to fill capacityand meet set targets
    • Contribute to the sellingstrategy of the hotel, and manage the departments'adherence to achieving that strategy
    • Understandthe competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure thehotel stays ahead in the local market
    • Conductweekly spot checks of five bookings carried out with a minimum of90% achieved in any departmental and system audits for any TeamMember
    • Ensure the Group, Conference, and Events(GCE) Sales Team Members are developed effectively and generate aculture of high quality standards for relationship building,customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processingcontracts
    • Manage and develop the Group,Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Team to ensure careerprogression and effective succession planning within the hotel andcompany
    • Organise hotel promotionalactivities

    What are we lookingfor?

    A Group, Conference andEvents Sales Manager serving Hilton brands is always working onbehalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. Tosuccessfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude,behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    • Demonstrated previous managerial orsupervisory experience in a Reservations and/or Conference andEvents Sales function in the hotel/leisuresector
    • Strong leadership skills to effectivelymanage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performanceand exceed targets
    • Strong analytical skills tounderstand key business indicators and competitive trends anddevelop approaches to thesechallenges
    • Excellent selling capability and anability and desire to coach selling techniques to theirteam
    • Excellent organisational and planningskills
    • Accountable andresilient
    • Ability to work underpressure
    • Flexibility to respond to a range ofdifferent work situations

    It would be advantageous in thisposition for you to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions:

    • Knowledge ofthe hotel property management systems
    • Previousexperience in the same or similarrole
