    Job Summary

    We are currently seeking a highly skilled Control SystemsEngineer to join our dynamic team. The refinery with a capacity of250000 BPD is situated in Western Saudi Arabia. In this role youwill be responsible for managing and enhancing the operabilityefficiency and safety of various control systems includingHoneywell DCS and ESD systems in compliance with internationalstandards.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on controlsystems.
    • Provide diagnostic support andconduct Root Cause Analysis for issue resolution.
    • Recommend improvements in control system components suchas hardware software and procedures.
    • Conductadministrative tasks including writing technical reports managingmaterial orders and tracking expenses.
    • Interface effectively with Operations Maintenance andEngineering teams.
    • Ensure adherence toEnvironment Health and Safety policies and internationalstandards.
    • Support Plant and Equipment startupprocesses including Prestart up safety reviews.
    • Respond promptly and effectively duringemergencies.
    • Manage configuration and logic inDCS and ESD systems including graphics modifications.
    • Oversee alarm management activities and implement vendorrecommendations for system updates.
    • Designspecify select and service Basic Process Control Systems SafetySystems PLCs etc.
    • Assist in developing controlphilosophy and functional descriptions.
    • Managevendor contracts including maintenance and partsmanagement.

    Requirements:

    • Willingness to permanently relocate to DhahranSaudi Arabia.
    • Bachelors degree inInstrumentation Electronics Electrical or Computer Science.Advanced degrees preferred.
    • A minimum of 8years experience in Industrial Automation Systems with at least 5years in DCS and ESD systems.
    • Proficiency inHoneywell TDC3000 or Honeywell Experion DCS systems.
    • Knowledge of Rockwell PLC & HMI Triconex ESD CCCBentley Nevada systems is preferred.
    • Experience in establishing communication interfaces usingEthernet Network and Modbus.
    • Basic networkingknowledge and familiarity with relevant industrial codes andstandards.
    • Proficient in Windows server MS SQLserver VMWare and virtualization technologies.
    • Capability to develop engineering drawings wiringschematics loop diagrams and power distribution for controlsystems.
    • Understanding of SIL fundamentals andAlarm Management principles.
    • Additionalcertifications like ISA CFSP TUV PMP are advantageous.
    • Experience in multinational and multiculturalenvironments is a plus.
