    • Responsible for personal safety andworking within the provisions and guidelines of the Wood HSEprocesses. Promote Company HES initiatives, aspossible.
    • Responsible for working within theprovisions and guidelines of the Wood Quality Assurance systems andprocesses.
    • Study and understand all relevantproject documents pertaining to the preparation of plans andschedules.
    • Assist in the development andmaintenance of planning control structures in alignment with theapproved project Work Breakdown Structure(WBS).
    • Responsible for communications andreporting within internal team and with the client in accordancewith contract planning and scheduling meetings schedule(s) andreporting requirements.
    • Proactive attitude andability to contribute to the continuous improvement of the planningand scheduling process for Contract.
    • Developand manage effective relationships with project team and relevantmembers of client organisation.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with engineering andconstruction to develop project baseline schedules. Capture projectprogress status on ongoing periodicbasis.
    • Analyse project progress status andarticulate this to project team andclient.
    • Prepare / review / approve all projectplanning and scheduling project status reports asrequired.
    • Participate in Competency assessmentreviews and mentoring program for Junior Teammembers
    • Act as an assurance focal point forPlanning deliverables

    • Develop and maintainbaseline project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 schedulingsoftware.
    • Produce manpower histograms toprovide accurate forecasts of the manpower resources required toexecute planned work.

    Provide subject matter expertguidance in planning for the assignedprojects

    Qualifications

    • Ensure peer review process is inplace, participate in these reviews for the schedules prepared tobe issued to the Client, as per Lead/ Principal Plannersguidance
    • Produce and issue updates to projectplans and schedules.
    • Communicate the impact ofschedule delays / conflicts to the project team to assist in thedevelopment of recovery decisions.
    • Support theProject Controls Manager and Planning Lead, asappropriate.
    • Participate in schedule riskanalysis as required.
    • Continuously chasefeedback from the Delivery Team and address any concerns with Lead/Principal Planner
    • Take active part inNationalisation and development of Juniorpersonnel.
    • Support Lead Planning Engineer andassume his duties in his absence
    • Where requiredassist with and provide input to the auditprocess.
