    Description

    We are currently seeking an experienced anddetailoriented MiddleLevel Accountant to join our financedepartment. As a MiddleLevel Accountant you will be responsible foroverseeing various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracyand integrity of financial records. This role presents an excitingopportunity for an accounting professional to contribute to thefinancial success of our organization within the dynamic setting ofa water adventurepark.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managedaytoday accounting operations including accounts payable accountsreceivable and general ledgeractivities.
    • Prepare and analyze financialstatements variance reports and budget forecasts to provideinsights to management.
    • Conduct monthlyquarterly and annual financial close processes in compliance withaccounting standards and regulations.
    • Performbalance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper documentation offinancial transactions.
    • Collaborate withinternal stakeholders to develop and implement financial policiesprocedures and controls.
    • Assist in preparingfor audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessarydocumentation and explanations.
    • Supervise andmentor junior accounting staff providing guidance and support asneeded.
    • Identify opportunities for processimprovements and efficiency enhancements within the financedepartment.
    • Assist in special projects andadhoc financial analysis tasks as assigned bymanagement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or relevantcertification is a plus.
    • Minimum of X years ofprogressive experience in accounting or finance roles preferably inthe hospitality or entertainmentindustry.
    • Proficiency in accounting softwareapplications (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar) and advanced Excelskills.
    • Strong understanding of financialprinciples accounting standards and regulatoryrequirements.
    • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving abilities with a keen attention todetail.
    • Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently withinternal and external stakeholders.
    • Provenleadership and team management capabilities with a track record ofmentoring and developing staff.
    • Ability tothrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple prioritieseffectively.
    • Commitment to maintainingconfidentiality and upholding ethical standards in financialpractices.
