    Description
    • Welcome every Guest entering thehotel (Arrivals & non-in house).
    • Ensurethat Guests are greeted at the car within 30 seconds of thevehicles pulling onto the driveway.
    • Remainobservant and responds to each Guest who passes through the frontentrances of the hotel.
    • Ensure that otherGuests are acknowledged while engaged with otherGuests.
    • Open car doors and extends a warm andpleasant greeting to Guests.
    • Give cleardirections for Guest to retrieve car when issuing valet ticket ifthe car is to be valet parked.
    • Reportsuspicious people or behavior to securitypersonnel.
    • Be aware of the circumstancessurrounding each vehicle on the driveway.
    • Shareimportant information relating to the driveway with all members ofthe team.
    • Maintain a perpetual presence on thedriveway throughout the hours of the shift.
    • Bean ambassador for the hotel by providing an excellent firstimpression of the hotel to the Guest.
    • Workclosely with the Bell Persons, providing accurate information withregards to Guests' roomnumbers.
    • Assist the Housekeeping department bymaintaining the cleanliness of the hoteldriveway.
    • Perform other duties as requested bymanagement.
    • Upon departure packs the Guestluggage into the transportation and confirms the number of luggagepieces at the point of departure, offers car door assistance,thanks the Guest and invite them to return.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in the positionis an asset, although not a prerequisite
    • Shouldpossess the ability to work fast and efficiently underpressure.
    • Should have a strong personality inorder to be assertive when controlling traffic on thedriveway.
    • Must have the ability to manageseveral tasks simultaneously.
    • Should bephysically fit in order to lift and moveluggage.
    • Should have a good knowledge of thehotel and Dubai, as well as currentevents.
    • Good English skills essential (verbaland written). Second language is anasset.
