The Business InformationManagement Specialist provides business technical leadership acrossa broad range of information management functions to support thevarious areas of data and analytics. Works independently as asenior lead and may manage and direct activities related toanalysis, design and support of business data management solutionson various projects ranging up to largerprojects.

Depth &Scope:

• Highly seasonedprofessional role requiring substantial knowledge / expertise in acomplex field and knowledge of broader relatedareas
• Requires master level conceptualexpertise and knowledge for own area of specialty / domain andknowledge of broader related areas
• Primarysubject matter expert in multiple areas and consults withclients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of businessinformation management processes andprocedures
• Expert level analytical and problemsolving skills and fluent in multiple programminglanguage
• Works autonomously as a senior/lead ona diverse range of tasks and is relied upon to coach/ educateothers
• Manages and directs activities relatedto analysis, design and support of business information managementsolutions
• In-depth expertise or experience withbig data solutions and familiarity with big datatechnologies
• Keeps abreast of rapid businessand technology innovation within business information managementfield
• Familiar with visualizationtools
• Analyzes, designs, develops datarepositories, warehouses and marts, data movement, data wrangling,data mapping and transformation (ETL)processes
• Supports solutions, applications,platforms, and/or tools that are leveraged across all functionalgroups (e.g., Data Scientists, Business Insights &Analytics, etc.)
• May also be responsible fordeveloping sophisticated data preparation frameworks andarchitecture to create or modify data features for consumption byData Scientists
• Supports data modelingcapabilities in order to structure business data to be consumed /translated into a variety of novelcapacities
• Supports business teams in the useand understanding of the data and reportingsolutions
• Develops data road map/informationmanagement strategies and corresponding technical solutions onintegrating, transforming, and/or managingdata
• Drives data-centric solution developmentfocusing on complex data integration
• Adopts theEnterprise Data model in alignment with direction from the OCDO andother data & analytics functionalgroups
• Solicits, analyzes, and understands datarequirements (i.e., using market research, requirements gathering,feature planning, user experience / design considerations, etc.) toenable development of information managementsolutions
